So when Bray finally returns to Georgia—and to Elias—things between them couldn’t be more perfect…until one fateful night changes everything.

Desperate not to go to prison for a terrible accident, Elias and Bray decide to run. As they try to make the most of their freedom, the two find themselves relying on a rebellious group of people who tempt the duo into a wild and daring new life. But they can’t run from their troubles forever.

As the consequences of their past catch up to them, the couple must finally face reality. Even if they can make it through the unimaginable, Elias knows the truth about Bray’s painful history, and in the end he may not be able to save Bray from herself…

My Thoughts

ARC provided by publisher via NetGalley in exchange for an honest review.

Whilst I do love J.A Redmerski's book, I did find this one very hard together into. It didn't seem to pull me in like her other books did. I felt that that it did confuse you a bit in the beginning when it started off 17 years ago and then jump to 5 years ago.

I just really couldn't settle into this book

My Review

I received this ARC on behalf of an honest review

I do love Jessica's book and I was so pleased to be able to read a copy of this ARC.

This story continues on from Breaking Nova, after Nova manages to pull herself together and start getting on with her life. The book starts with the prospective of Quinton and where he is now and how he has fallen even lower in a downward spiral.

We see that Nova makes it her mission to save Quinton as she feels that she didn't have the chance to save her boyfriend Landon who killed himself in book 1.

This book is not your typical romance, it is dark, heatbreaking and thought provoking.

There were many times in this book where it can reduce you to tears.

I highly recommend reading this next installment of the series of Nova.

Jessica Sorensen out did herself again & I can wait for the next book to be released, I hope that I would be luck enough to receive the Arc to book 3.
