cooltext129126365169392 small_ebookThey say that your school years are supposed to be the best years of your life, and that you should make the most of them because you’ll miss them when you’re all grown up. Up until Maisie Preston’s senior year, she would have totally agreed with that statement. Life was great; she had everything going for her, excellent grades, great parents, an annoying yet caring twin brother, and an impossibly sweet boyfriend. Everything was perfect — that is until the arrival of Zach Anderson. A misfit delinquent that seemed to bring with him a lot of bad karma. Is it just a coincidence that his arrival marks a significant change in Maisie’s life? Up until senior year, life was perfect, but things seem to be going downhill fast. This is a companion novel for ‘Always You’ — though this novel stands alone so there is no need to read Always You first. cooltext129126499469344

cooltext129126644141686   Kirsty Moseley has always been a passionate reader since she was a little girl, devouring books overnight, barely sleeping and paying for it at school the next day. Writing has come similarly to her and once she discovered Wattpad, she finally plucked up the courage to post one of her stories. Seven million reads later, she self-published her debut novel THE BOY WHO SNEAKS IN MY BEDROOM WINDOW, which later became one of 10 Finalists for the 2012 Goodreads' Choice Awards, Best YA Fiction. Shocked and overwhelmed by the response, she published her second novel ALWAYS YOU a few months later. If she had to sum herself up in one word, it would probably be 'daydreamer' - but unlike most of her school teachers, she doesn't necessarily view that as a bad thing. After all, she read somewhere once that books are like waking dreams.... She lives in Norfolk, England with her husband and son. cooltext129126698059480

Never Shattered by Julie Bailes Cover Reveal

Title: Never Shattered (Shaken Series Book 3)
Author: Julie Bailes
Genre: Contemporary Romance
Release Date: Fall 2015

It’s what everyone wants, yet few of us will ever experience. True love, intense and passionate love, wreaks havoc on our bodies; our hearts turn violently inside of our chests, our stomachs knot, and our brains are delirious. I know love and the excruciating side effects that come with it.

Love, though beautiful, is a silent suicide.

Some say, “If you love someone, set them free. If they come back they’re yours, and if not, they never were.” But, I say, those people are absolutely ignorant.  Out of love, I let her go, but I’d never set her free. Because of me, she’s living a lie—a life with a man she doesn’t belong to. And I want her back.

I am hers and she is mine, and our love has never shattered.

Julie resides in a small town just outside of Nashville, TN. Living with her husband, twin boys, and prissy princess; she's always on the move. She enjoys any and all things chocolate. She has an addiction to caffeine and consumes unhealthy amounts of coffee. When she's not at home chasing after her rambunctious kiddo's, you will find her cuddled into the side of her loves arms, watching a movie, reading a book, typing up the craziness that consumes her mind, or in class. Her motto is to live like it's your last day on Earth, laugh until your stomach aches, and love until you heart stops beating. Also, never judge another, you don't know their struggles.

"You know, I've been a lot of places in this world, but this place is still one of my favorite spots."
"It is beautiful."
"That's not it. The world has plenty of beautiful places. What made this so great is that I was happy here."
"In Eternity Springs?"
"No. Here at Lover's Leap. With you."
He sounded so sincere. Sarah's heart hitched. Was he trying to seduce her all over again? Is that what this is about? What that kiss was about this afternoon?
She was vulnerable to him. Well, vulnerable to the old, or make that the young Cam.
"I expect everyone is a little nostalgic about their teenage days to some extent."
"I'm not talking about nostalgia. I've never been nostalgic about those days; I have nightmares about those days. I'm talking about happiness, which for me means Lover's Leap. I never bought into the whole thrill of the forbidden thing. I hated sneaking around with you. This was the only place we were honest."
He gave his head a shake, then said, "I'm sorry. I sound like a whiny kid. I don't know what's wrong with me. I'm in the weirdest mood tonight."
He's talking about his feelings and emotions. He's a guy. Of course he thinks it's weird.

Release Blitz: He Found Me Series by Whitney Barbetti #HFMSRelease #Juliandra #IndieGirlPromotions #WhitneyBarbetti @WhitneyBarbetti

He Found Me:

When I was seventeen, I disappeared. I walked out the door of my apartment with a backpack and never looked back. I left the life of Cora Mitchell behind, seeking freedom from my real-life nightmare. But my freedom came with a cost. I lived a fictitious life for the next six years, never letting anyone close enough to see underneath the facade that was Andra Walker. I was content with my simple little life. Until I met Julian. And the moment I started allowing myself to open up, allowing someone to see through the superficial, was the very same moment the Monster from my past would return to find me.
He Saved Me:

I’ve come to understand that I’ll always find her. She’s my north star, my sense of direction. In her, I’ve found my home. She tells me I saved her. But the truth is, she saved me.

But nothing good can ever last. Andra’s keeping secrets. She’s holding something back. I’m trying, desperately, to anchor her. To let me in, to let me help.

But will all my efforts end up with a ghost of a girl I love?

I'm used to disappearing. Vanishing into thin air, without a trace of who I've been or where I've gone.

But it’s so much harder to do with a broken heart and no hope for a happy ending. Sometimes the only people who can put all the pieces of us back together are the ones we least expect to. That's what Julian did for me.

Julian found me. But now, all Six wants is to keep me locked up, away from the world, away from the Monster. I can't live like that. It's not living at all. Because I still have unfinished business.

And I'm going to make sure the Monster gets what’s coming to him

I like nachos and champagne and clean sheets. I spend far too much time at Starbucks. I wrote a couple books

BURN by JC Emery Blog Tour @jc_emery

Release Day: July 23
Tragedy cuts deep. Revenge burns deeper.
The blood of their enemies coats the leather of their cuts and a trail of bodies lie in their wake, but the Forsaken Motorcycle Club isn't done yet. Carlo Mancuso still needs to pay for his sins. Nobody knows that more than Ian Buckley, the Treasurer for Forsaken.
Ian prefers his pleasure mixed with pain and he's only ever at peace when he's doling out justice. Convinced that he's too unstable and sadistic to take an old lady, he keeps his trysts, like all of his relationships, brief and anonymous. But with his club at war, and the stakes being so personal, Ian's feeling the events around him more deeply than he expects.
Mindy Mercer is the sweet daughter of Fort Bragg’s most respectable cop. At least that’s how the town sees her. Very few people know the Mindy who hides her tracks and battles her cravings by lying to everyone around her. She thinks she has control of her addiction until she suffers an attack that leaves her searching for a way out of her own personal hell.
Mindy has never been more desperately in need of a savior and Ian has never seen a more beautifully destroyed creature in his life. Their attraction is intense, but their damage is extreme. Some scars never heal, and some people never get better.
Love is never more painful than when it can kill you.

~*~ Obsessed by books copy given in exchange for an honest review ~*~

"And where has that gotten me? I'm a bitter as fuck recluse who wants nothing more to do with the real world and only finds refuge in a man who has abandoned her for God only knows what."

The fifth book in the Bayonet Series focuses in on Mindy Mercier, and I highly recommend you have read the previous books in order to enjoy this story fully. A case of mistaken identity, being at the wrong place at the wrong time, led to the most horrific experience of Mindy's life. Gang raped, brutalised and beaten Mindy has been left broken, a former shadow of herself. Throughout her ordeal the degradation and trauma was relayed directly to Ian over the telephone by Holly and every since the shared nightmare Ian has become her companion. Every morning he is faithfully at her door to ensure she fights down the panic and manages to eat a little. Bonded by the shear helplessness they both endured Mindy only feels able to breathe when he is around. Fighting his own inner dark desires Ian to torn between his need to protect her from herself and his need to consume her, possess her and claim her as his own.

This primarily is story of recovery. Of survival and emerging stronger than you ever thought possible. Her strength has been forged in the fires of hell, Mindy evolves through her fear into a sassy kick ass young lady. Bearing the weight of her past she squares her shoulders and goes after the one thing she craves - Ian. Having to first overcome her own demons she then has to break down the doors Ian has locked his own tragic past behind. Convincing herself she can handle all Ian has to offer she then has to show him he is the one thing she can no longer without. When someone is so monumentally broken, can they be fixed?

Craving pain, justice and retribution Ian is drawn to the fragile broken beauty that is Mindy, craving to possess her. Knowing his darkness is too much to bear for any woman he keeps pushing her away. Their budding relationship is a concern for all close to them as all of Forsaken is acutely aware of Ian's preferences and dark desires. Mindy's dad is a cop and can not align himself with a MC club. Ian is willing to go to any lengths to bring peace to his family, MC and blood alike. The ongoing war with his father rages on like a well played game of chess. Pawns are sacrificed and moves are made exposing vital players.

This is a haunting story of two damaged souls that in the darkness of horror connect through shared terrors to transform into something magnificently beautiful in it's own unique way. By far my most favourite read in this series. Ian is an incredible character that has suffered so much, much more than previously known. He may have a fire of anger and rage burning inside of him but Mindy knows the pleasure of controlling the burn so is the perfect match for him. Addiction, survival and overcoming all that life throws at you...this is an amazing read!

A five star I couldn't put it down read.

“I like talking to you. I want to get to know you.”
“What’s the point in getting to know me when you’re just going to end up hating me eventually, anyway?” This is why I don’t want to bond with her. I don’t want to let her in and to love her the way Ma does, the way Michael does. Even Ryan loves her and I’ll be damned if Pop doesn’t love her too. She’s squirrelly like that.
“I can’t hate you. If I can’t hate my father, then I can’t hate you either. I won’t ask you not to hurt him, and I can’t tell you how I’ll feel when he dies because I don’t know how I’ll feel. But I can tell you this— he stole you and my mother from me. My father hurt you, and he hurt me in a different way. He hurt Michael too, but he might be too proud to admit that just yet. Carlo Mancuso has his family and I have mine.”
She takes a step closer and reaches out, grabbing my arm. The tears she was holding back slide down her cheeks as she stares up at me.
“I don’t like violence and I hate to see people get hurt, but no matter who I am today, I was a principessa, a Mancuso. I understand the need for justice and deep down I know that this war goes back further than last year and that it was only a matter of time for my father to get what’s coming to him.”
“I don’t want to hurt you,” I find myself saying. My chest aches and my jaw is tight. I reject the emotions that make me weak and force myself to think about anything but how good it feels to get this gift from her. “Every year on your birthday, we have a party. It used to be just me and Ma, and then when Pop and Ryan came around, they’d join in. It was always just something we did. Ma never wanted to forget either of you, and she made sure I never could. I don’t want to hurt you, but I have to make this better for her.”

Ride Blurb:
Death comes in Armani. Salvation comes in leather.

Principessa to the Mancuso crime family, Alexandra knows a thing or two about living outside the bounds of the law. Suffocated by the future her father has laid out for her, she makes a choice she can't take back, changing the entire trajectory of her life.

Thrust into the dark and dangerous world of the Forsaken Motorcycle Club for her own protection, Alex finds herself faced with the last thing she needs right now: the man of her dreams. He’s sex in leather, the devil incarnate, and one hell of a kisser. But he’s also off-limits. Ryan Stone can be her friend, but he’s forbidden to be her lover.

Third-generation Forsaken, Ryan knows nothing other than life on two wheels, and he wouldn’t have it any other way. He enjoys the many privileges that come with the patch, and the only laws he recognizes are the ones set-forth by his club. That is, until who he wants more than anything isn’t allowed on the back of his bike —or in his bed. Balancing his desire for her body, and need to keep her safe, Ryan tries to keep Alex at a distance. Finally having made a choice for herself, she’s done hearing the word “no” and will push boundaries even Ryan himself doesn’t dare cross.

Love is never more tempting than when it’s forbidden.

Thrash Blurb:
Loneliness suffocates the heart. Acceptance breaks down walls.

As a Lost Girl to the Forsaken Motorcycle Club, Nicole Whelan knows how to party. She’s not cut-out for relationships and her life is way too complicated for anything more than casual encounters. But one night when she falls into Duke’s bed at the clubhouse, he sees something in her that he can’t let go of—no matter how many times she tries to run.

Having been left to raise her teenage brother, Jeremy, she’s already got her hands full and isn’t looking for anymore complications. But Duke’s just watched his best friend fall for the only girl he couldn’t have, and then almost lose her so shortly after, shaking him to his core. Faced with his own loneliness, he’s more determined than ever to break down Nic’s walls and show her that he can be good for her; but he’s got a bad track record and she’s got a bad temper. Changing his ways isn’t easy when he’s not sure what he’s even changing for.

The violence and turmoil are at an all-time high, and Forsaken is in a vulnerable place when a twist of fate breathes new life into the club. It’s a much-needed beacon of hope for the embattled biker family, even if everyone’s not exactly on board. With Duke and Nic’s relationship already on shaky ground, and something even more important at stake, the Forsaken Motorcycle Club will fight like hell to keep their family together and whole.

Love is never more precious than when it’s new.

REV Blurb

With the looming threat from the Mancuso Crime Family, the Forsaken Motorcycle Club is preparing for a war that could destroy them. Grady, the club’s Sergeant-at-Arms, knows that love makes you weak, and he has zero interest in adding to his liabilities– especially now. He’s already got his teenage daughter who keeps him on his toes and a beef within the club that could fracture his relationship with a fellow brother for good.

For Holly Mercer, her life is finally getting on track and the last thing she wants is trouble from her hometown’s resident outlaws. Keeping her nose clean is easier said than done, when suddenly she finds herself embroiled in club business. Holly might like the idea of being with a real-life bad boy, but even being in the same room with tough-as-nails Grady flusters her.

When Holly inadvertently finds herself on Mancuso’s radar, she has two choices: trust that Grady will protect her, or continue to refuse the club’s help. Both roads are dangerous, but only one has the chance to damage her beyond repair.

Love is never more dangerous than when it can destroy you.

Young love is always perfect. Until it's not.
Cheyenne Grady is a total daddy's girl to her bad-ass father, the Sergeant-at-Arms of the Forsaken Motorcycle Club. She's funny, and kind, and she just wants that deep, earth-shattering love like her dad has with her school secretary, Holly. But Cheyenne's been looking in the wrong direction, because the only good that can come from the way she looks at Jeremy Whelan is a lesson in heartbreak.
Jeremy always wanted to prospect for the Forsaken Motorcycle Club and wear the same patch as his father. When a life-long dream becomes reality, Jeremy realizes that the outlaw lifestyle is not for the faint of heart. Nor is it easy on relationships. He wants to be a good man, but temptation is everywhere.
Cheyenne is beautiful, and strong, and exactly what Jeremy could have forever. As long as he doesn't screw it up.

Love is never more powerful than the first time.

'"Do you know what happens to a bird if you hold on to tight"I ask. "You crush it's wings."'

Continuing from where book one left us with our jaws hanging open catching flies, you really need to read this series in order. Joe three days later is still reeling after the eye opening events of book one. A college student her life is full of secrets. No one knows she pays her way by working as a stripper, no one knows she has been sleeping with a customer after her shift ends and certainly no one knows that she has also been dating her art teacher. The burden of her compartmentalised life and the way it slowly unravels is the main focus of book two in this series. Joe has a choice to make. Knowing that Brody is not for her she carefully realigns the bonds of friendship having made them hazy when her complicated life softened her towards the easy choice. Making things right with her best is also on the agenda before she leaves to move across country to begin a new life with her boyfriend. And yet Joe can't escape feeling torn between her two lovers.

A journey of self discovery, choices and the consequences of their actions are explored in this gripping sizzlingly hot read. We see a different side to the main characters and realise that maybe her choices are not so dissimilar after has embraced his darker side and is proud of his menacing edge using it to his advantage in work and play, whilst the other tries hard to keep those elements hidden so is much more devious his outer demeanor approachable and non threatening. The plot thickens and I do sense some underhand tactics at play to win Joe in the battle for her.

Do they want to love her or own her? Is it the lure of the fight to be the victor and is she putting her heart at risk? Can this be anymore than physical attraction or is this a pretty woman scenario for Joe and will she find her happily ever after? Oooh so many questions and yes this also ends on a cliffhanger. Just when things seem to be reaching an even keel a major spanner is thrown into the works and I swear I heard Joe's heart shatter. I cannot wait to read the next one, Joe deserves her knight in shining armour, I just can't decide who that may be...yet!

A four and a half star torn between two men read.
