Miss Taken Series Review Blitz @cleoscornavacca

Miss Taken (Miss Taken #1)                                 Love........................The Ultimate Loss of Control

Rain and Raven Medici are identical twins. Although they come from a loving close-knit family their childhoods couldn’t have been more different. Raven went to school and was exposed freely to the outside world. Rain on the other hand was born with a blood disorder and denied many normal childhood experiences.

Once grown, Raven becomes a lawyer at their dad’s firm Kane & Medici in NYC. Rain along with her only childhood friend Tommy Conte, builds a very successful business as professional photographers. Traveling between Europe and Manhattan, and enjoying a world that was kept from her, Rain vows never to be controlled again.

Dominick Kane is a product of his upbringing. He’s powerful, self-assured and knows he can achieve anything he desires. Nothing gets in his way. There is only one thing he has ever failed at. A relationship with his father Vincent Kane. Upon his father’s death, Dominick vows revenge. The events he sets in motion put him on a collision course he himself will be unable to control.

In a bizarre twist of fate, Dominick kidnaps Raven as part of his plan for revenge. Only to discover afterward, he has taken Rain by mistake. Rain knows she can never survive being confined again. So she strikes a bargain with the devil and agrees to help Dominick get back what he feels rightly belongs to him. His father’s share of Kane & Medici.

Dominick decides to use the strong attraction growing between Rain and himself to control her in every way imaginable. Too bad no one ever taught Dominick you can’t control the heart. Nothing could have prepared him for the effect Rain would have on his.

Will this plan of revenge turn into unconditional love? Or will Dominick and Rain’s need for control ultimately destroy them and any possible chance for a real future

Omg this was so good. puts a whole new perspective on mistaken identity.

Raine is a girl who wants to take control back over her life and due to a rare blood disorder she's been sheltered most of her life. while her sister Raven has lived freely, Raines parents have kept her closed in. one day out taken photographs she is kidnapped by Dominick Kane. Dominick is after revenge for his father's death and money he feels is owed to his family. Dominick has a plan to get his father's shares he will kidnapp the daughter Raven of the partner in the company . The only problem is that Dominick doesn't know thst Raven gas a twin sister Raine. Raine knows she won't survive being confined again, so she propositions Dominick. She will help him get his father's shares from Kane & Medici for control back of her life. little did either one know that lines would be crossed and feelings would grow. With the attraction between them, Dominick uses it to his advantage, but the heart wants what the heart wants. Can Dominick let go of some control for Raine, can Raine deal with Dominick having little control. loved this book, a must read, can't wait for next book.

Identity (Miss Taken #2)                                                            People aren’t always who you believe them to be.

Dominick Kane and Rain Medici started their relationship with one another in the most unconventional way.

He kidnapped her.

With the kidnapping now behind them, life returns to normal, right?

Not a chance.

The push, the pull and their fights for control that we’ve come to love about Dominick and Rain still exist. And so does their passion.

People aren’t who you think they are. Familiar faces are not so familiar. The past and the present collide, opening up all of those old wounds and struggles once again.

Now, everything you thought you knew, gets blown out of the water.

Can Dominick and Rain finally heal what’s broken? Or will new discoveries push them even further apart.

Will love win out and bring them back together? Or will ghosts of the past ultimately destroy their love once and for all...

>>> must read miss taken first >>>
This book was better than the first one. it's kinda hard to do review and not give nothing away.

we continue our story of Dominick and Raine. The love they have for each other is amazing and the way they came together is just unreal. Yeah you want to slap Dominick but his not perfect he may not say or do the right things but what man does, that's what I like about this book the characters are real. You can't deny the love Dominick has for Raine it is beautiful. of course they have bumps and past but I lived it.

Author Bio
I was born in London and moved to Sydney about 11 years ago. I’m a corporate professional by day, dealing with some hugely high profile clients. I have been moonlighting as a male stripper/naked waiter for around 12 years. In terms of my writing, I’m very new indeed, having been encouraged to start by one of the very few people who know both sides of ‘Jake’. She told me that my stories needed to be shared, and pushed me until I started to blog. None of this would have happened without her support and sometimes not so subtle art of persuasion.

I literally started writing about two or three months ago, blogging initially and now writing. Things have gone insanely crazy in the last three or four weeks. I’m astounded by the level of interest that there appears to be in my stories and am working very hard on my first book right now.

My book will naturally be titled ‘True Confessions of a Male Stripper’. My aim is to be totally honest and as transparent as I can be about my life as a male stripper. I want to be entertaining whilst strictly charting a course of validity, honesty and openness. I’m delighted to say that at this stage of the process, I have not strayed from those initial, founding principles (and have no intentions of doing so down the track).

I’m out of the cab a nanosecond after it comes to a halt outside the club. It’s still early, but already there’s a line of people hoping to get in. One of the security blokes unhooks the purple rope as I approach.

Ray emerges from inside. I don’t fail to notice the look that passes between him and Aide. Fucking hell, I don’t need two nursemaids. Why can’t they just leave me to my misery? I don’t want their sympathy or their concern.

I grunt in reply to Ray’s welcome and go inside.

The pounding beat of the music reverberates beneath my feet as I cross the entrance lobby. I must look like I mean business because the rope at the bottom of the staircase that leads to the upper floor is unhooked tout-fucking-suite and I don’t even have to break my stride.

Upstairs in the VIP section I make straight for the bar.

‘Vodka,’ I tell the barman. ‘And not that shit you give the punters. Koniks.’

The barman looks past me, over my shoulder. I glance round in time to see Aide give a small nod. Fuck that pisses me off.

I glare at the barman. ‘What the fuck are you looking at him for?’

The barman looks all kinds of nervous as well he fucking should. I’m his boss for fuck’s sake. He takes the vodka from the drinks fridge and reaches for a tumbler.

‘Forget the glass.’ I snatch the bottle out of his hand.

‘Classy,’ Aide sneers behind me.

I tell him to fuck off and head to the farthest seating area.

Flopping down on the sofa, I unscrew the cap from the chilled bottle and throw it on the table.

Ah, the first taste is always the best. Okay it’s not my first tonight, but still.

Aide places a glass in front of me and sits on the opposite sofa.

I stare at him. ‘Got a problem?’

‘Your drinking is bad enough. You could at least try not to look like some wino.’

That’s funny. Yeah, some wino I am; sitting in one of the most expensive clubs in London in a thousand pound suit. ‘Fuck you.’

Aide sighs and takes a swig from his bottle of Stella. Okay for him to drink from the bottle then.

‘So is this how it’s going to be? You drinking away our profits, not to mention your life,’ Aide asks as I pour vodka halfway up the small tumbler.

I raise the glass to my lips. ‘Start a fucking tab then. You know I’m good for it.’ Fuck. I’m good for ten lifetimes.

But it’s this one that’s killing me.

About the Author
From a small child I’ve loved to lose myself in stories. I’m a firm believer that if heaven exists, it contains every novel ever written and has big squishy sofas to curl up on and read for all eternity.

My comedy play, The Magazine was performed at The Bush Theatre in London and my poetry has been published in several anthologies. However, what I really wanted to write were novels. With several unfinished manuscripts languishing in the depths of my computers hard drive, it was my discovery of erotic romance that led me to the realisation this is the genre I should be writing.

As English as they come, I couldn’t survive without tea. From Rachmaninov to Aerosmith my taste in music is best described as eclectic. And I make a mean chocolate cake.

I currently live in London, England, but dream of moving to the coast. A long held desire I really hope to fulfill one day.

I had an absolute blast writing Beguiled and In Too Deep and I hope you enjoy them, along with book 3 of The Frost Trilogy due to be released late summer 2015. I realise the colloquial dialogue and British idioms may be new to some readers, but Mia is English as am I and she speaks with a definitive English voice - I couldn’t have written my feisty, intelligent, well-read heroine any other way. Maybe I should have included a glossary! LOL
