The rules:
No dating.
No sex outside of the game.
No disclosing the terms of the contract.
Rules were made to be broken, right?
Eight weeks ago I signed a contract.  One that seemed like a good idea at the time.  A handsome bachelor, luxury accommodations, and a chance to win a prize my family desperately needed.  There were some rules though.  Lots of them actually.  Follow the script, no dating, sex, or disclosing the terms of the deal.  After my self-imposed moratorium on men the last year, it wouldn’t be hard to live up to my end of the bargain…so I thought.  Until I realized the deal I’d made was with the devil…and I was in love with his dirty-talking brother.

Review by ToniAnn New Yorker Obsessive Pimpette
5 amazing stars!!
I can't say enough how much I loved this book! It had me hooked from the
Beginning. It was a sexy and sweet read. Kate inherited debts left behind from her dad who was a professional poker player. She signs a contact to be on a reality show in order to win a grand prize to help pay off some medical bills. There are rules though. No dating, no sex outside of the game and no disclosing to anyone about the contract. Enough about Kate.

Now cooper. Oh so sexy cooper. Owner of a production company, who wouldn't love cooper? I know I do. Cooper loves his life as it is until he meets Kate. But of course there is other people involved. Flynn, miles wow. Hands down one of the best books I have read from vi Keeland. Amazing. Can't say it enough. So buy it and read. You won't be disappointed.

Excerpt

Every girl needs three things
1.  A flutter in her belly when she meets him for the first time.
Meet Cooper
My lips brush the top of her hand lightly, my tongue sneaking out to fleetingly touch her skin.  The brief contact stirs an ache inside me.  This woman tugs at something—more than arousal—something that makes me want to slow down time just to spend a few more minutes standing here.
“Did you just…” she stammers a bit.
“Did I just what?”
She squints at me.  “You know.”
“Do I?”
“I felt your tongue on my hand.  You…you licked me.”
I’d been dying to run my tongue along her neck all evening, although I hadn’t really meant to be so crude about it.  It just sort of …happened.  “I wouldn’t say licked, maybe just a little taste.”
“So you tasted me?”
My entire body suddenly has interest in this conversation.  “I suppose I did.  But it wasn’t nearly enough.  That brings us back to my invitation for dinner.  Tomorrow night?”
“I can’t.”
“The day after then?”
She laughs and shakes her head.  The sound makes me smile.
“Good night, Cooper.”  She pulls the driver’s side door shut and leaves me standing there…for a full five minutes after she’s gone.
2.  A best friend to talk about him to.
Meet Sadie
“And?”
“And I kissed him when we were in his office.”
“How was his office?”
“Really?  That’s what you want to know.  Not how was the kiss or aren’t you in breach of your contract?  How was his office?”
“You can tell a lot about a man by his office.”
I gulp another unladylike sip from my wine glass.  “His office was beautiful.  Sleek, overlooking the city.  It oozed power.”
“Nice.  Bet he fucks like he owns you.”
The thought of what he’s like in bed is enough to make me lose my train of thought.
“Go on,” Sadie prods.
I don’t continue immediately.
“You forgot what you were up to because you were thinking of him fucking you like he owns you, didn’t you?”  My best friend smirks knowingly.
“Shut up.”  I pause.  “Anyway, I don’t know what I’m going to do.”
“Well, him.  Obviously.”
“I wish it were that easy.”
3.  A gentleman that turns into a bossy dirty talker in the bedroom.
Cooper – behind closed doors.

“You haven’t even begun to see bossy yet.  Tonight I’m going to tell you to do things, and you’re going to do them.  When I tell you to open wider, or take my cock deeper, you’re going to listen.  You know why?  Because since the moment we met, all I’ve wanted to do is make you feel good.  Hell, I don’t even need to get off physically.  Because I’m going to get off watching you every minute.  So, yeah, I’m going to be bossy.  Now let’s put the rest of this behind us.  Do you want to be with me tonight?”
After that prelude, I nod my head fast.  I’m no fool.  Who wouldn’t?

Publisher:  Clean Teen Publishing
Genre:  YA Mature Contemporary Romance

Synopsis:
“Breathe. No one will break me. I’m strong. Breathe. Just breathe.”
On the outside, Willow appears to have it all. She’s beautiful, smart, from an influential family, and she dates the most popular guy in school—Jaden. But she would walk away from it all in a second. Willow is tormented by lies and suffocating guilt, not the hearts and flowers people believe her life is full of.
She carries a dark secret. Plagued by nightmares and pain, the secret dominates her life. If she hadn’t walked away. If she had just…but she didn’t. And now she has to live with her choice. But when someone uncovers her family’s past, they use it against her, crushing her spirit little by little. She tells herself she just has to make it to graduation. Then she can leave Middleton, and her secret, far behind.
When Brody transfers to Cassidy High, he turns Willow’s life upside down. He shows her what it feels like to live again, really live. And suddenly, she isn’t satisfied with just surviving until graduation. She wants a normal life—with Brody—and he wants her. But the closer they become, the more it threatens to unravel the secret she’s worked so hard to hide.
Willow finds true love with Brody. Will she let his love save her, or walk away from him to keep her secret safe?
I was lying across my bed, working on my calculus, when my phone chimed. I grabbed the phone off the table next to my bed and smiled.
BRODY: whatcha doing?
ME: calc. you?
BRODY: same. wanna talk?
ME: sure.
My phone rang just a few seconds later. “Hello?”
“Hey,” Brody said, his voice sliding over me like velvet rope. It caressed me as it squeezed the air from my lungs.
“Hi.” I cringed when my voice came out all squeaky and breathy. “When you asked if I wanted to talk, I thought you meant texting.”
“Oh. Sorry, we can hang up and just text.”
“No! No, it just surprised me when the phone rang. So, what did you want to talk about?” I asked him.
“What are you wearing?” he whispered.
“Um, what?”
He laughed loudly into the phone. “I’m kidding, Willow,” he said when his chuckles faded.
“Oh, you were kidding? I was totally gonna to tell you if you told me…” I let my words trail off.
I heard him inhale. “Um, I think we need to move on to safer, more friend appropriate topics.”
I laughed. “Okay, you pick the topic.”
“Do you have a TV in your room with satellite?” Brody asked.
“Yes.”
“Good. Turn to channel 235.” I flipped to the channel Brody suggested. “Oh, I’ve wanted to see this movie.” I pulled the blankets back on my bed and slipped under them, bunching the pillows behind my back.
“Good, I haven’t seen it yet either. We can watch it together.”
“Are you in bed?” I asked.
“Yeah.” His voice came out huskier than normal.  “This is new. It’s kinda fun. Only, there’s one thing missing,” Brody murmured.
“It is fun. What’s missing?”
“You. I wish you were here, not there.”
“Oh.” I wasn’t sure what to say. I was glad he couldn’t see me because I was grinning like a fool. “Look. That’s just cheesy,” I said.
“It’s a movie about zombie aliens. I think we passed cheesy a long time ago. Oh, look at her. Now we’re getting somewhere.”
“You’re such a perv.”
“What? I’m a guy and she’s hot. If she’s going to walk around naked, I’m gonna look and appreciate the fine job God did assembling her.”
“Ugh. Whatever.” I rolled my eyes.
“Stop rolling your eyes.”
“I didn’t.”
“Yes, you did. I heard it in your voice,” he said with a laugh.
“Oh! What do we have here? It’s the male species joining the bimbo in the shower. Mmm, he’s nice to look at. Great butt.” I sighed.
“Now who’s the perv?”
“Me. I never said I wasn’t.”
Brody laughed. “Good to know.” He cleared his throat, and his voice was a little huskier than normal when he said, “Love scene.”
Our easy teasing ended  while the television played a very hot love scene—how it got only an R-rating was a miracle. I watched it on my television, hearing the moans and sighs from Brody’s television echoing through the phone. Awkward.
I could hear every breath Brody took. I could tell when his breathing sped up. I heard the small groan he made and the rustle of blankets and I wondered what was making him uncomfortable, the love scene or watching it with me on the other end of the phone.
“You want to know a secret?” I whispered.
I should stop talking now. Shut up! Shut up!
He sighed. “About you? Always.”
“I really do want to know what you’re wearing.” I bit my lip, waiting for him to say something. The sounds of the love scene still filtered through the phone.
“Mm. You’re making it very difficult for me to keep things G-rated between us,” he murmured.
“I know. I feel the same.”
“Fight scene. Ooh, did you see that arm fly across the screen?” Brody asked a little too loudly.
“Yeah. Gross.”
Finally. That love scene was killing me. I never thought I’d be so happy to see arms and legs blown off.

synopsis
Monsters. They don’t hide in your nightmares. They steal you away from the good life and prevent you from living your dreams.
That’s where 17-year-old Gwendolyn Fitzpatrick found herself; surrounded by wicked fiends after everything she thought she had was gone in the blink of an eye. She was shuffled away with one bag of memories miles away to a pair of foster parents that hardly had her best interests at hand. Forced to obey and listen to her caregiver’s commands, Gwendolyn buries her old self and focuses on the pain to become one of them.
A monster herself to seek vengeance.
While yearning for her teeming point to come, Gwendolyn starts to connect with another 17-year-old foster boy living with her who calls himself Welch. Just when Gwendolyn starts to feel faith splice its way through the venom of pain, the connection she has with Welch is put in jeopardy as the harshness gets worse with each passing day.
Will the two tattered spirits make it out alive?

Excerpt:
“Full disclosure—my ex-boyfriend, who wrecked my world, is about to walk by. I’m begging you to please pretend to know me.” I knew how pathetic I sounded, but I would kick myself for that later.

He slightly tilted his head to the right and gave me a confused smile. Then, he just stood there and gaped at me. I was now seriously doubting the whole honesty-is-always-the-best-policy idea. It sure as hell wasn’t helping me.

“Roxy?” Kevin called out from a few feet away.

My insides twisted into knots at the sound of Kevin’s voice.

Please just kill me now.

I didn’t know what I was thinking.

Oh, right, I wasn’t.

I stepped forward, wrapped my arms around the sexy stranger’s neck, and pressed my lips to his.

Yeah, so this is way more than I asked from him.

Please don’t push me away.

I was trying to will this guy not to call me out. Surprise and relief flooded my body as I felt his arms wrap around my waist, and he returned the kiss. His tongue grazed my lips. I parted them, allowing him access.

Wow…

People shouldn’t just grab strangers off the street and kiss them, but damn, this guy could kiss.

$20.00 Amazon or B&N eGift Card

A heroine who has stopped believing in fairy tales and happy endings, Dia Sophia Romani, jilted three days before her wedding, has lived with Mama in San Diego’s Little Italy for six months. She’s tired of everything Italian, and is ready to move on…

Enter an unlikely hero. Carlo Antonelli is of Italian descent. He adores Dia, but he’s willing to take his time and not rush her. When he learns she will be vacationing in Italy and Corsica, he must step up his game.

Will a wish made at a magical gate destroy, or strengthen, their newfound love?

“You mean…?” She looked back at the guy.

Nah, impossible. I’ve never been that lucky.

“Yeah, that’s Carlo Antonelli.”

“You don’t want to accept the date, just make up whatever excuse you want.” Tony beckoned.

A jolt of heat spread through her abdomen when Carlo grinned and waved. He ducked through the slow moving traffic and stopped in front of her smiling a crooked smile. Pushing his sunglasses onto his head, white teeth flashing, and mahogany eyes sparkling, he held out his right hand.

My wedding date? Her heartbeat pounded, and her mouth went dry.

“You must be Dia.” He tucked the book underneath one arm and held her hand gently with his other big warm hand. “Carlo Antonelli.”

“Yes.” The word came out on a soft breath. She swallowed hard. “Tony mentioned you wanted to speak to me about Marco’s wedding.” Something inside of her shifted, as if a huge iceberg started to melt in her chest and slide sideways, leaving a pool of cool, blue, bubbling water. She floundered for a minute wondering what to say next, because she couldn’t use the word date. Not while looking into his magnificent eyes. Then she remembered he was Italian, or at least part Italian.

Strike one.

Her shoulders stiffened. She had no interest in Italian men. She hitched up the purse onto her shoulder, and squinted from behind the dark sunglasses.

*** obsessed by books are given for an honest review ***

this book is about two families coming together as one, but when the heart wants something else , what are you to do when you've been told its wrong.

from the very first time that sophie and logan meet there is chemistry and its a struggle for them, and its noticeable with every touch, every look. on sophies birthday it ends up being just her and logan and some lines are crossed and kiss is shared and some feelings are exposed but sophies tells him they cant do this cause it is wrong, so to protect himself and sophie logan stays away as much as possible.

a year has passed and its sophies birthday the family is going out and logan is coming along while at dinner they both realize that their feeligs are still very much there and alive, so logan decides he is going to tell sophie how he really feels for her and even his dad knows, but what happens later that night changes both their lives forever.
dealing with losing love ones is never easy and usually with time it gets better, but not when you have nightmares. sophie call on logan for everything he is her rock even though she has a boyfriend of years . instead of calling on tyler she calls on logan. one day sophie walks in on her boyfriend having sex with another girl and she just can't take it anymore and she runs off to the coast to be with logan her savior . while staying with logan, one night feelings get carried away and they make love and logan confesses some of his real feelings for sophie but all sophie can say is how it was a mistake. its not a mistake with her real feelings , its a mistake on the thought that their parents would be disappointed. she runs off in the middle of the night just leaving a note for logan. its a year before their paths cross again and its their jobs that bring them together. The only thing is logan feels hurt my sophie he has loved her this whole time and feels that she just never cared for his feelings and its took this year of being away from her to mend or has it. sophie still fights with how she truly feels about logan, she has always loved him but will she take on chance on them. this book is awesome, its soo good. I didn't know how or where to start this review so forgive me if is too long or everywhere but this book is just that good , there are not enough words to express how good this book is. I couldn't put it down. I would give it a 5+ rating. you must get this book you will not be disappointed.

Review by Nadia Chief Obsessive Pimpette

~*~ Obsessed by books copy given in exchange for an honest review~*~

"Sophie didn't know whether to be offended that he ate her snail, or thrilled -he ate her snail!"

And so begins the forbidden love story of two teenagers brought together by their marriage of respective parents. Their story is a beautiful blend of innocence, humour and tragedy that makes their passion and circumstances feel so real. They meet for the first time at the wedding of Sophie's mother to Logan's father, not knowing who they are they spark off one another, the hormones causing sizzles of attraction to arc between them. Knowing it's wrong to want your younger stepsister Logan distances himself and gets on with his life in college. Only being involved in Sophie's life in small doses so that he can keep a tight leash on his emotions.

Heartbreaking tragedy eclipses their burgeoning love as at 18 Sophie experiences real loss and needs Logan to be her support, her family. Buring his feelings and becoming her go to person they develop a new dynamic as they both grow up into young adults. They maintain contact via phone and share their week religiously, Sophie has nightmares and needs Logan to survive her fears. Although both become successful with their careers neither has successful relationship and Sophies world comes crashing down around her once again.

Turning to her rock in times of need Sophie runs to Logan who welcomes her whole heartedly. They play cat and mouse around each other, trying to desperately maintain the sibling act to male their parents proud but when push comes to shove they can't resist the decade of longing they both have denied.

"They were stepbrother and stepsister, vest friends, lovers and now strangers."

Running is always her back up plan and age turns away from what has happened between them and moves away to the city to start again. Ruled by her fear and what others would think of her she shuns all contact with Logan. He is left broken and embitter by her choices. Fast forward another year and Sophie has learnt some hard lessons after finding a letter from her mother.

Fate once again has Logan crossing Sophie's path, yet he is not the man she ran from. Can she find her Logan hiding underneath the cool exterior, can they stop playing games long enough to really show each other how they feel? Or will fear male her keeping running from the man she loves?

Stepbrother, mine is a love story with twists and turns, I'll fated timings and circumstances. Logan is sensually hot and really he deserved better than the mind games Sophie plays. He was always there for her and she had the power to break him. Sophie is naive and sheltered, basing her actions on perceptions of what polite society would think. Hell if he was my stepbrother...I wouldnt give a damn what anyone thought! Their best friends add something more to them as we see Jan come to Logan's rescue and be everything that Sophie hasn't been in return to him. All in all a well written passionate tale that made me laugh and smile, grimace and outright stomp my foot!

Review by Jeanne Obsessive Pimpette

At first I had reservations about this book due to its title. Well, the old adage "you can't judge a book by its cover(or title in this instance)" certainly applies here. Logan & Sophie are attracted to each other the moment they meet. There's only one problem: they just became step siblings. It's a constant battle to control their desires for one another until Logan finally moves to the dorms on campus to try to relieve the sexual tension between them. Tragedy forces them together once again and as the years go by, their struggle with the rights and wrongs of their relationship finally comes to a head. Will they succumb to their feelings for one another or will they allow the opinions of society keep them apart?
