Bad judgement, too much alcohol or tired of fighting the attraction Zane rocks Mia world...then can't seem to shake the little minx out of his head, his pants...and maybe even his heart?!?
This is their story as we experience the difficulties of making your childhood crush become an adult fantasy, as the roles reverse and Mia takes control, demanding he acknowledge the pull of attraction between them. Zane is not only her brothers best friend but works for him too, becoming Mia's boss as she takes her place in the family business. Could things be any more complicated...oh yes this is an Elle Raven novel, bring on the twists, turns and erotica.
I loved every page turning word, and I can't wait for Miccah and also Milan's stories and this nicely gives the opportunity to explore both. This has turmoil, drama and another psycho...these Brunettis know how to attract them! Zane is a complex alpha male and I'm glad Mia made him open up...

Elle Raven's second book in her Barossa series Initiate Me brings Zane Mitchell to the forefront of our attention. You need to have read book 1 Control Me first to fully appreciate and understand events properly within this second book.
Zane 34, is now Head of security for The Barossa Hotels and Vineyards franchise as well as new owner of The Barossa Barrels pub. This dark haired, green eyed dominant male captured Mia Brunetti's eye 9 years ago and she's never been the same since." Maybe, just maybe when I got older, I could be Zane Mitchell's angel."
Zane is intrinsically linked to Mia's family through his friendship with her older brother Max and also as he now works for the same company as her. Mia is seeing her internship in the family business focussing on security and marketing for the Barossa Resorts. She's kept her head down and studied hard to accomplish her position and has previously had no time for romance. Zane, her boss, has always seen Mia as family, reasoned that his age, personal needs and his damaged heart from previous experience means "happily ever after is not my thing." for him with anyone and especially not Mia.
Mia has other ideas; a proposal that involves Zane teaching her many new things: initiating her into a whole new world of pleasure and pain. This book continues on from where the first book ended. We are transported back into Barrosa country. Here we have the most sexist, moody Zane, oh how I would love to have me a Zane.
Zane has finally agreed to work for Mia's brothers and as it turns out Mia has to have him as a boss. There is an insane attraction between these two and you can feel the heat coming off the pages.
Mia's childhood crush could very well become a reality, are the feeling reciprocated??
This is on hell of a sizzling sexy hot read and a real page turner.
Elle has written a book that is so satisfying that you are going to want a Zane of your own, I know I do.
The story flows so perfectly, you will be glued to the pages and will end up reading the book in one go.
I cannot wait for the next book as I want to see what has happened to Miccah and Milan to act the way they do.
