Mind. Blown. No other words describes how this book made me feel. I warn you do not read this in public...you will cry ugly. You will hold your breath until your lungs remind you to take another. Why?!?! Because Katia has become a monster, her pain and circumstances are tangible, a living entity as you read each word you will become absorbed in her heart break and your tears will drop slowly from your cheeks as you turn the page. The sweet naive girl has gone replaced by an empty shell that survives by going through the motions. Work, eat, sleep, repeat is her motto until tragedy strikes one more time and her lifeline relapses once again into ill health. Calling on her father to help Katia returns to face her demons and end things once and for all so she can start to live again...
"I don't need help. I don't need revenge. I need to tear Marcus's world apart. I need to make burn the way he let ke burn."
The book is written in a dual pov and also interspersed with flashbacks between then and now. Marcus too has suffered, hitting an all time low that we witness and I for one actually enjoyed his suffering. The spider was caught in his own web of deceit and has paid severely for it. Has he learned from it? Has he changed? Will they get their HEA? I can't reveal anything without ruining the plot but seriously strap on your big girl panties and settle in for the ride.
This story is an emotional rollercoaster, beautifully written with a fast pace and well structured momentum. Katia becomes surrounded by her family and loving support from brothers she never knew she had. She builds those bonds of family and her best friends Candy and Dusty are there too. Ford is an enigma and I hope we see more of him too! Other characters such as the Joker's Wrath crew pop in and we meet a very gorgeous biker...phwoarrrr ;)
The attraction between Katia and Marcus is as explosive as a natural disaster and a force that can not be stopped. Unfortunately the physical attraction is never enough to soothe the weary souls or repair the damage to fractured hearts. I will say I thought the ending was like a cloud moving away from the sun...perfect in every way as you can't appreciate the light if you've never been in the darkness.

Bella Jewel certainly knows how to bring you to your knees!! This second part of the Till Death series sees Katia doing all she can to survive. It's set nearly two years after the dramatic ending and splits between Marcus and Katia's pov and flits between then and now. We see how they live with Marcus' actions and the consequences of that horrible day.
Katia is hurting; she left everything behind apart from her mum and went to seek solace away from him after that dramatic revelation in book 1. She has one constant reminder of Marcus but that's not enough to go back and deal with things, but her loyal friend Dusty convinces her to go back to get that closure she needs to move on. With a heavy heart she does see Marcus but things are never that easy. They have an undeniable chemistry, attraction and passion which they both can't fight but that can also turn toxic, vicious and twisted. When things beyond their control take a turn for the worst its Marcus who gets blamed by Katia she loses herself to the pain, rage and anger and decides to take action " I don't care who you are, I don't care what your past is- you make a choice to completely destroy a human being for your own satisfaction, your soul will go to depths of the earth and deeper, and you, my friend will burn." She enters the darkness and is overwhelmed by it; will she find what she's looking for their or will the darkness consume her?
Without revealing too much it's suffice to say things turn nasty very quickly and this time around Katia is the one with a secret to be kept in more ways than one. The twists and turns will have you welling up with tears and laughing as Landon and Wyatt add their views to events.
I adored this book with its sizzling passion, dark twists and relatable characters. I hope Bella writes a book for Ford or any of Katia's brothers as they are more than sideline characters!!
