The Vigilante's Lover Blog Tour

The Vigilante’s Lover Synopsis:
Spies, vengeance, and one seriously well-dressed man

"If Bourne dressed like Bond and acted like Grey, you'd have Jax De Luca."
An addictive new romantic suspense series from the desk of USA Today bestselling author Deanna Roy/JJ Knight

Mia trembles as she reads the letter that arrives from Ridley Prison.

Seduction. Bondage ropes. Descriptions of things Mia has never experienced or known.

The man’s words are desperately passionate. He longs for a woman who must have given him a fake address. Mia’s address.

She plans to send the letter back. He’s a convicted felon.

But his words gnaw at her. She’s never done anything dangerous. And no man has ever talked to her like this.

So Mia writes him, pretending to be the woman he desires.

It's her one dark thrill in her dull, solitary small-town life.

The man is in prison for another fifteen years.

It's harmless. She is safe enough.

Until he escapes.

~*~ Obsessed by Books arc given in exchange for an honest review ~*~

Ooooh think Mission Impossible, spies and treacherous dealings. Jax is in prison, having fallen for the schemes of Jovana and found guilty of murder, he breaks free to clear his name. Once upon a time he was in line to take over the Vigilantes, a top secret agency, but due to his poor judgement he has been sucked into a underhand plot.

Conversing in code with his contact on the outside he is aware Klaus must be in trouble as his responses are a little off, making his first move to track Klaus down he finds Mia at the safe house instead. Cue some kinky bondage and a sizzling attraction that neither one can deny. Jax, still jaded by his experiences at the manipulative hands of his last ex believes Mia is something she's not.

Mia is an orphan, her aunt has recently passed and she is floundering directionless in life. Finding letters in a stack of disregarded post she is intrigued by the passion of the words. Caught up in the erotism she writes back trying to be a little adventerous, a little less boring believing it will be nothing more than a little fantasy as he is an inmate and due to serve 15 years. Her world is shattered as she gets caught up in the crossfire...

This is the first in a series that is fast paced, suspenseful and full of tension. The imagery is got and the sexual awareness running between Jax and Mia is tangible. A fab introduction to the plot, characters and I can't wait to read more!

Four nail biting stars.

Review by Wendy Book Obsessed Pimpette

*** obsessed by books arc given for an honest review ***

this was thrilling read.

Mia is a young twenty year old has lost her aunt that she took care of. while trying to figure out what to do with her life next, she encounters a letter that has already been opened and is addressed to k. Kraus. what she read is shocking words of seduction and bondage making mia feel things she has never experience in her life. Against her better judgement she response to this letters from Jax, enjoying what words they hold, but not knowing that they hold a special code. Jax is receiving these letters from Mia not understanding whats written in them. Jax is determine to find out what is going on and is still planning his escape from prison. While Mia dreams of Jax when she sleeps she is waken one night to come face to face with the man in her dreams. This book is amazing, I hate its a cliffhanger but I cant wait to read the next one.
