Rachel loved Jack for years, and when you see them everyday it makes it hard to get over them, but you've heard the saying to get over someone, get under another, well that's what Rachel does.
She gets heartbreaking news from Jake which causes her to run, it lands her in the penthouse of the very sexy billionaire Landon Court, but the thing is he thinks she's a hooked who's been paid in advance for his pleasure. Landon being all sexiness that he is, Rachel sees it as a opportunity to get over Jake, but neither expected to have feelings like they did. But we have to souls damaged with a past. Both afraid to give in and take a chance. Both characters are strong, the chemistry between them is good. Hate I can't see how it plays in this book, but can't wait for the next one.
