Gwen is a woman who has suffered abuse, and due to that she has being just trying to live. She put up walls, not allowing anyone in, she has to have control til she meets J.C. . omg he is sexy, fun, carefree and offers Gwen a proposition. He will help her lose up a little, enjoy life. I mean what's wrong with a little friends with benefits, right. Well Gwen is stick to rules, no feelings no attachments which is usually what the guy is doing, but J.C. not complaining cause he has secrets of his own. but when friendship starts to grow into something more, will secrets from each others past keep them apart. I enjoyed this book, I didn't expect the ending, definitely a must read.
