ARC and it was for a HONEST review. For some reason, a few people don't want that. I have received comments that I will address. I do not know this author and have never read anything by this author. I have had no contact with this author so this falls on some of the authors followers. I write honest reviews about how I feel about a book. I don't seek out books to review by unknown authors to me. With that being said..my original review will stand.
This book had so many characters in it that it was hard to keep up with the story.
Harper is trying her best to prevent a war but she doesn't succeed. Her friends are all surrounded by death and it seems they just can't win. Many of her friends are taken and/or killed. When Jackson is taken she does what she must to get him back only to be taken herself.
When the group splits to try and find answers, Lea and Aerden have Time to talk. She has the pendant from the hunter and the key that saved her. She still needs to know why he gave it to her.
So much death and destruction with no visible outcome.
