Have you ever sunk inside yourself to a place of darkness so deep you couldn’t see the light? Had no hope? Felt completely alone in a world filled with so many people?
I have. I’ve lived it, breathed it.
Why?
Because life hated me.
It disliked me from the moment of conception, despised me when I was born, loathed me when I bounced from each foster home, and kicked me in the gut when I watched the one thing that meant everything to me leave.
For years, I drifted, unable to find my footing, never knowing what the word stable meant. Then a single moment in time rocked me to my core, changing me and making that solid ground I so desperately craved crumble at my feet, causing me to fall farther than I’d ever imagined.
The darkness of the swirling tornado that is depression captured me, pulling me down to its depths, drowning me, suffocating me, owning me.
A depth so deep, I didn’t think I’d survive and didn’t care if I did. I only wanted peace. I wanted the pain to disappear. I wanted to be … free.
Needing to fall into the cyclone of darkness was the only way I could find the light.

it was amazing

Wow this was one hell of an emotional rollercoaster read. This story was very close to home for me as I can relate to the issues described in this book.

I can imagine that this was one hell of a book to write for Ryan, and emotional, heart wrenching time.

"Have you ever sunk inside yourself to a place of darkness so deep you couldn’t see the light? Had no hope? Felt completely alone in a world filled with so many people?"

That is one line that I think a lot of people reading this book can relate to.

Reign is a young woman that has suffered so much abuse and has fallen down the black hole. You will feel so sorry for this woman and you will be willing her along in every way possible.

Lynx a man that has seen the imaginable, has his own demons. You will grow to love this cocky man, and you will has an insight into why he suffers like he does.

This book for me is an emotional read, with twists and turns, a rollercoaster of emotions, get the tissues handy.

Ryan has produced a read that highlights the illnesses such as depression, anxiety, PTSD and it has been written beautifully. I can imagine that this book was really written from the heart as you can see that in the words of this book.

Thank you Ryan for writing a beautiful read.

Wow oh wow what an emotional read this was. Ryan did a great job on Needing to Fall this was a heart wrenching and very emotional. I have never read anything like this before. I loved Reign she wasn't the typical girl she had a lot going on dealing with own issues and the darkness that surrounded her. She was abused, neglect and was in pain. I felt for her and cried to what she went through. Lynx is cocky and dominating and has his own issues to deal with. I really loved this book it was a great and different read than what I am used to.

Ryan Michele has a huge obsession with reading, which only came to life after her best friend said she had to read Twilight. After reading that series, her entire world changed in the blink of an eye. Not only was she sucked into new worlds and all of the wonderful words authors put down on paper, she felt the urge to begin to write down the characters that played inside of her head. In doing so, Safe was born. When she’s not reading or writing, she spends time taking care of her two children and her husband, enjoying the outdoors and laying in the sun.
