Dirty Bad Secrets is...I'm speechless. Its raw and unsettling. Is it sexy and hot yes it is, the passion and unrequited love between Andy and Faye is heart breaking and awesome all at the same time. They have their happily ever after yet I still feel a hollowness. Her time away, her ordeal as I can't really describe it as anything else is dark and forever changed who she is. She becomes a paler version of her nemesis, manipulating the man she loves and her friends into acts that are of dubious consent as she has been conditioned to think this is a way of earning love and showing love. She pushes the boundaries but past an acceptable point and I think that's why I couldn't rate it higher than four stars. I feel she's a victim, a survivor and her secrets are traumatic and her relationship with Andy is her saving grace yet she walks a fine a line of becoming the abuser. Dirty Bad Secret is an excellent addition to this shock filled series and this one definitely will leave a lasting impression. Nothing is off limits and no sexual act is taboo which makes this an unique read. I loved catching up with previous favourite who are just as dirty, bad and filthy as always...Topaz was a fantastic addition to the cast. Emotionally charged and darker than the others this was another fantastic story that certainly pushes the boundaries of entertainment.
