Featured Excerpts
Badass - Kendra Wild
Nicole POV.
“Another drink?” Nick asked.
“Sure,” Nicole told him. After the next drink, she wandered off to the restroom. She couldn’t get him out of her head. She felt a strange connection with the ex-Special Forces bodyguard she’d just met before the flight. It was rare for her to meet someone and feel comfortable with them so quickly, but there was something about him, something strangely familiar that made her feel safe at a time she should have been scared out of her mind. She knew that once they landed at JFK, they would go their separate ways, and she’d probably never see him again. That made their connection even more intriguing.
So many things a girl can do with a man she won’t ever see again…
When Nicole got back to her seat, she leaned over and whispered to him. He leaned into her a little so he could hear. “You know what I’ve never done?” she asked.
“What’s that?” he asked.
“I’m still not a member of the Mile High Club.” She couldn’t believe she actually admitted that to a complete stranger. It had to be the alcohol.
Nick sat up and looked at her with one eyebrow cocked. “Are you serious?”
“Yes. How about you?”
“Me? I’m a card-carrying platinum member,” he said with gravelly laugh. “So how come you’ve never done it on a plane?”
“I never had the nerve to try. I’ve actually always worried about being caught.”
Nick chuckled. “Don’t worry. They don’t make you parachute out afterward or anything like that,” he assured her. He looked her up and down, and playfully added, “Tell you what. I’d be happy to help you get initiated if you’d like.”
“Now, are you serious?” she asked, giggling that she was seriously considering having sex with this guy she met less than an hour ago. And in the airplane restroom, no less.
“Yes I am.” He said it like he’d done it a hundred times. “I’ll help you out. Give me a minute, then come back there and join me. It’ll look too suspicious if we walk back there together.”
He stood up and walked down the aisle to the restroom. Nicole watched his broad, firm body work its way through the cabin. Broad shoulders, fit back, strong arms, and tight ass. She imagined holding on to those buns of steel while he gave it to her in the bathroom. She couldn’t believe it was about to happen, but she was so ready. She was wet just thinking about it.
Her anticipation grew while she waited for him to get to the back of the plane. It took what felt like forever as she waited for him to give her a signal to let her know when to come back there. It was unfair, she thought. Maybe she should have gone back there first. That way she wouldn’t be drawing too much attention to herself by staring back through the aisle every few seconds.
Then, she saw it. The door opened slightly. That must have been the signal.

Bad Boy Biker - Bella Wild
Jace POV.
“You’re not just another ex-con biker thug,” Jessie continued. "You’re different. There’s something about you,” she said.
Jace laughed. “Maybe it’s the wine.”
Jessie looked at her glass, which was empty again, and agreed. “Maybe you’re right. It’s definitely got me feeling a little more open. I should probably get going before I have too much.”
“So early? We were just starting to actually talk,” Jace protested. He was not ready to let her walk out that door, not now that he finally got her guard down.
“I think I should,” Jessie told him, getting up from the table. “I’ll make a deal with you. If you sign that paper and drop it by my office, I’ll consider another date sometime.”
Jace got the feeling she would anyway, even if he didn’t sign the request to be reassigned to another therapist.
“That’s tempting.” He stood up to walk her to the door. “I’ll think about it. Are you okay to drive?”
“I’ll walk. I don’t live far from here.”
He stretched his arm across the doorway. “I can’t let you do that. This is downtown Phoenix. It ain’t safe this time of night.”
Jessie looked up at him and slowly ran her fingers across his outstretched arm, letting them come to rest at his shoulder blade. “I walk at night all the time. Don’t worry so much.”
“You’re in no condition to be out alone tonight.”
They stood face-to-face in the doorway now. Even in heels, Jessie was still a lot shorter than Jace.
“You’re not who I thought you were at all, Jace Roma. I had you pegged for this bad-boy, womanizing, tough-guy biker, but you’re not, are you? You’re gentle and warm.”
“Maybe.” Jace laughed.
“You have this rough and tough exterior so that no one will see that kind, caring person underneath, but when you let people in, it’s clear you’re a decent man, Jace Roma.”
“If you’re going to analyze me, maybe I should take the couch,” he said.
“How about your bed?” Jessie asked as she threw her arms around him and leaned into him.
He looked down into her eyes and smiled. “Are you sure it’s not the wine talking?”
“What if it is? I’m not unconscious, so it's me, not the alcohol. I think this time I can get what I want for a change.”
Jace was not going to let the moment pass. His lips eagerly moved to hers. Jace wrapped his arms around her waist and pulled her closer. He could feel the longing in her body. She pressed hard against him. Her desire was so fierce he felt it spreading to him, too, and it wasn’t just the wine. Jessie finally pulled all that sexual tension from their sessions right up to the surface.
Her lips tasted of red wine and long, lonely nights. She felt like raw passion. She had been wanting him for a long time. He could feel that as she pressed her hips against him. All that need wrapped up in her tight little body, coiled up in her toned muscles and held in place by her pants suit. And now, he was the right someone she needed to let that wild desire run free.

Kylie Walker: Indecent Desires Excerpt
Crystal and Joe followed Tanya around the two story building as she hastily pointed out each office, elevators, restrooms, and conference rooms. It was a busy place and everyone seemed to be rushing in or out of somewhere. There were a lot of cops around, both in uniforms and in suits and ties with their gold shields attached at their waists. Crystal was happy that the offices all seemed to have names on them because the huge cement building was shaped like a horseshoe and one office looked almost the same as the next. She showed them where the law library was and informed them that a lot of their work would be done from there, researching case law for John. She took them into the kitchenette area and introduced them to several paralegals who were there having their breakfast. She pointed out the executive dining area and Eric Steel’s suite of offices. She looked directly at Crystal as she said, “Stay away from him. You’ll have no need to be down here.”
Even knowing Eric Steel’s reputation, the way that Tanya said it was slightly offensive to Crystal. She shook it off however by the time Tanya led them back towards John’s side of the building. They stopped in front of a small office that said, “Intern” on the door. It was two doors down from John’s office.
“Joe, this will be yours. It should be stocked with everything you’ll need and I left some casefiles on the desk with notes on them. Most of it is research like we talked about earlier in the library. When you finish with it, bring the files back up to me, my office is the one just outside John’s door.”
“Thanks,” Joe said. He pushed open the door and Crystal looked inside. There was a small window along the back wall that had thick, frosted glass in it. The desk was dark oak and looked well used and there was a black leather chair behind it. The computer, printer and fax machine also all looked used and possibly even out of date. In the center of the desk was a small stack of files. Joe grinned at her and went in and took a seat behind the desk. Crystal suppressed a smile as she thought about her friend Debbie. The difference in pay and benefits was one of the reasons Debbie told her she wanted to be a defense attorney rather than a prosecutor. If she saw this office and the equipment still from the nineties in it she would say, “I told you so.”
Tanya was halfway down the hall when she stopped and turned to look at Crystal. “Are you coming?” She spat the words out. Crystal smiled again and hurried along after her. She thought about asking the woman what her problem was, but she didn’t want to have words with her boss’s assistant the first day on the job. She followed her to the office next to John’s and with a roll of her eyes Tanya said, “John requested that I put you in here. I suppose that way you and he can share memories about your mother and what not.”
Bingo! That was her problem. She knew who Crystal’s mother was and assumed that was the only reason John gave her the internship. Crystal smiled at her again. That seemed to bother her a lot. Good! She didn’t have to explain herself to this woman, or feel bad that her mother made good connections through her own hard work. “This will be perfect, thank you, Tanya.” Crystal said it in a dismissive tone of voice and Tanya set her jaw as it fought back a retort.
