This is a one of those classic romances with a modern twist.
I found it hard to get into at first but as I carried on reading the book got alot better.
After a heartbreaking breakup with her previous boyfriend this heroine has a hard time trusting others and build up walls around herself.
In comes the hero trying to break down those walls, will he succeed or is he hiding secrets?
Everything was falling into place. Even amongst all the
chaos of Washington D.C., Brooklyn and Logan found each other.
Brooklyn never expected Logan...and as it always seems to
happen with her...things fell apart. She has been through this before...was she
strong enough to do it again?
On the outside, Logan was the epitome of wealth and
confidence. Many knew his name but few knew his secrets. He never expected
Brooklyn...but now she's walked away. He knew what they shared mattered to
her...and she...she mattered to him more.

This book continues on from the first and we get the answers that we were waiting for.
This book tends to go with Logan's prospective, even though it carries on Brooklyns story.
I do have to warn you though there will be tears in reading this.
Logan is most definitely a sexy sweet male and Brooklyn seems like a tough person with a hard exterior.
The book is beautifully done and I really loved reading this, the writing is impeccable and flows together.
