One night, a routine traffic stop turned the world I thought I knew upside down. I wasn’t who I thought I was. No one was. I had been kidnapped when I was young, and everything I had been told was all a lie. But the lies didn’t end there. If it hadn’t been for Lincoln Hunt, I might not have ever found out the truth.
My real name is Danielle Tucker.
This is my story of pain, betrayal, and finding the true meaning of home.

This is a story about loss, realisation and discovery, it is a heartbreaking read, where a discovery is made and the life you thought was real is suddenly ripped away with the truth.
Danielle Tucker was kidnapped when she was a toddler, and brought up by a man that sheltered her and gave her the love that he thought was best for her. She has known herself as Kendall Carrington, until everything is thrown in to disarray after a routine traffic stop.
She is then reunited with her birth family, a family consisting of an uncle and grandmother who she views as strangers. She meets Link, a man who becomes a best friend and enables her on a journey of self discovery.
Her boyfriend Billy is a reminder of her life, before all the turmoil thrown at her and I feel that she is torn between her real family and her life she knew as Kendall.
This read was a brilliantly written book, and it really pulls at the heartstrings. There are twists and turns that you really don't see coming.
It really is worth reading.

"She's gone. She died in that car on the side of the road at the same time her parents died. She's dead to you and she's desd to me. Do us all a favour and leave her in the ground and in the past where she belongs."
Danielle Tucker went missing from a car accident that killed her parents when she was a toddler. Her remaining family her uncle Jack and her Grandmother Jeri have never given up hope that she may find her way home to them. A silly traffic violation leads to a shift in everything Kendall Carrington believes is real. What happens when everything you have believed is true disintegrates into ashes? What do you have left when everything you know and love is a lie?
Home no more is a heart wrenching journey of self discovery, of nature verus nurture and a journey of salvation. Kendall/Danielle is so totally lost with her new found identity and the pieces of her past. What she knows is true and the filtered parts of those past events cause Kendall to be confused and angry. Knowing the man that raised loved her and cherished her she struggles to align the past with the picture her blood family has painted. Learning to separate the fact from fiction is a hard road. Drowning in the flood of emotions in her new reality her life saver comes along in a neighbour - Link Hunt.
A bad boy gone good with the help of Kendall's grandparents Link is quick to smile and very accepting of her past, holding no judgement over her choices or the way she feels. Being her constant companion Kendall comes to rely on his strength and continuity as her life complicates further.
Her boyfriend Billy is a remnant from her past life, raised together as children their relationship morphed into something more and she is torn viciously from everything she has ever known. Struggling to be apart, it kills her to know she can't go back to him until she turns 18, willing to walk over burning coals for the young man that holds her heart she is further devastated when he cuts all lines of communication. Why does Billy walk away? What secrets does he hide?
A story filled with plot twists and turns, one moment you think you've worked it out then the next another bombshell is dropped. To be honest Kendall isnt the easier female lead to love, she's angry and raw and often very selfish. Link is amazing, a real stand up guy that deserves a medal for the lengths he goes to to save a soul that is lost. Poor Billy. He is a victim in this sad story too and I hope he eventually finds his HEA too. This was an emotional read that had me grab a tissue or two. It's very thought provoking and emotive. A great blend of human struggle, love, lust and friendship.
A wonderful 4 star I want a Link Hunt read.

I was given this book for an honest review from obsessed by books. This is my first book by this author and won't be my last I read this in one sitting which never happens.
I was hooked from chapter 1. At first you meet Kendall when she gets pulled over. Nothing comes up when the cop looks up her information and that is when her life is about change forever.
I absolutely loved these characters. Kendall finds out the truth about her life years later and learns who she really is. Then you meet link and wow. He's the kind of book boyfriend you will re read months after your done he's amazing in every way. I don't like to give much away when I wrote a review so do yourself a favor and read this book. I promise, you won't be disappointed

Leddy Harper had to use her imagination often as a child. She grew up the only girl in a house full of boys. At the age of fourteen, she decided to use that imagination and wrote her first book, and never stopped.
She often calls writing her therapy, using it as a way to deal with issues through the eyes of her characters.
She is now a mother of three girls, leaving her husband as the only man in a house full of females.
The decision to publish her first book was made as a way of showing her children to go after whatever it is they want to. Love what you do and do it well. Most importantly Leddy wanted to teach them what it means to overcome their fears.
