I was stuck between a rock(star) and a hard place.
At fifteen, his poster hung on my bedroom wall. At twenty-five his body hovered over mine. Every girl’s fantasy became my reality. I was dating a rockstar. Yet I was slowly falling for another man. The problem was—the two men—they shared a tour bus.
Flynn Beckham was the opening act.
Dylan Ryder was the headliner.
What happens when the opening act begins to shine so bright, it seems to dim everything else in its wake?

Jesse Kingston, lead singer for Falling Down, is a tall, dark, and gorgeous temptation I don’t want to resist. I’m going to ignore all the warning signs and do what I normally wouldn’t—I’m going to indulge my fantasies and give this sexy rocker what he wants and something he won’t soon forget—me. Will our time together end up changing this bad boy? Or will it end up changing me?
***This is a stand-alone novel with a HEA. No cliffhanger***
Love rockers ** ARC given on behalf of obsessed by books for an honest review * * ok I had already read this book once, so when I was given an ARC for a honest review I was honored. so I'm going to leave my first review but, I am going to add to it. if you love rockers than you must, no you need to read this book. Lucy has always had a crush on rocker Jesse Kingston from Fallen Down, when she runs into him at the airport at age 17 she becomes speechless, they shake hands, get a picture and actually have a conversation. now 6 years later here we are Lucy is an Academy award winning actress and her sister Sera is a well known model, they are at cage studios getting ready to make a video for a popular band, but don't know who. when luce and Sera get on the set they see all this music equipment and seeing that music is really their passion they decide to play them, but had no idea that they belonged to Fallen Down til Jesse starts singing along. The band loves the girls and it's like instant family and right off the bat Jesse starts his sexy banter with Luce and oh my Jesse has a sexy mouth. The chemistry is very explosive so is easy to say the sex starts soon but omg everything about Jesse is perfect, his body, hair, tattoos , his dimples and my god his very large pens and lord we can't forget his sexy talking dirty mouth., but when he falls hard for Lucy is sweey, loving , caring but Jesse isn't sure. cause his never done relationships, he just knows he's going to mess up. Lucy is a strong, sassy mouth female who is awesome she loves Jesse she has over half her life but she has trust issues but these two give it ago and its, bumpy, sexy, hot . when lucy and sera decide to give being musichians, fallen down decides to help them. we have a great book of characters Ben, Xander, Kennedy, Kyle, Jace,Maggie, Trace. Hope to see a book on the whole gang. this is going to be a great series. can't wait for book two. Jesse is walking sex on a stick. the way he talks to luce is unreal. He may be my favorite rocker by far. definitely a must read.
#2 Blush
*WARNING* This is NOT a dark romance. There will be MINIMAL angst or drama. There will be lots of laughs, frequent dropping of the F-bomb, and crazy monkey sex.
You know how people say they woke up in Vegas married and you're like, how the hell could that possibly happen? Who does that? Well, us apparently… and the press is having a field day. Let's not even get started on the topic of my mother. Then there's my grandpa wanting to meet my new husband--that's not scary at all. On top of that, we're heading out on tour and I'm a nervous wreck--factor in the fact that Jesse's newly changed marital status doesn't seem to be an issue for the groupies. Nothing deters them. Not even the fact that I'm standing right there when they proposition him. I can handle the press, my mom, and even my grandpa. But the women who are ruining my current mood of "happy", well, they've got another thing coming. It's time to put these women in their place because nobody messes with my happily ever after.
* * ARC given on behalf of obsessed by books for an honest review * * This is book two in Rockstar series and we have more of Jesse and Lucy, plus the whole gang. The Blush is starting to make headway, the tour with Falling Down is underway and of course we have more hot, steamy sex with Jesse and Lucy along with drama and jealously. we learn a little bit about each member like the fact Xander may be in love with Lucy. but Xander is awesome I just love him. we see a different side of sera . with Jesse and Lucy being married, their trials are just starting, plus someone in the family is after the girls and when Lucy discovers her situation keeping her safe is more important than ever. this series keeps getting better and better. I could never get enough of Jesse and Lucy but would love to see more about the group.
#2.5 A Very Xander Christmas
The first Rockstar
Christmas. A short story—told Xander Style.

Sera
He’s my protector, my confidante. Then one night he became more. I want him, I need him, and, if I’m honest with myself, I love him. I just don’t know if he’ll ever see me as more than what we’ve always been: friends. I don’t want to lose him but it’s getting harder and harder to keep my feelings to myself. Should I risk it all or play it safe?
Cage
She’s my light, my saving grace. The night we came together I knew I could never live without her. I want her to be mine: my lover, my friend. Maybe, if I can get her to see past all the reasons why we shouldn’t be together, she’ll be my forever. It just might be time to turn it up and go for broke.
* * ARC given on behalf of obsessed by books for an honest review * *
oh wow we finally get to see the love affair between Cage and Sera. This has been relationship forever but they never realized it. Cage has been a close family friend, his job was to protect Sera and Lucy but he feel in love with Sera, but wasn't sure if she felt the same, was it just a fling but he knows he loves her. Sera has loved Cage forever but just knew what they had was just sex, safety, but here she finds herself sick and not sure how to break the news of her ailment, cause she doesn't want to run cage off, but she doesn't want him to feel trapped either. on top of that we have cage and sera dodging their feeling for each other and there carina she wants cage and wants Lucy dead. when a life threatening accident happens, cage realizes life to short and vales his love for Sera. These two have awesome sex too. the series is awesome, want more. need more.
#4 Interlude
It's time to go back on tour...
Being on the road will be challenging for me with the Kingston litter on board. Add in the Blush Baby campaign that is now underway, the never-ending threats to the family, the Jesse-obsessed fans, and the changes that have happened since the last time we were on tour, I can’t help but wonder what else is in store for us.
I was born and raised in Wisconsin and still live here today with my two sons and puppy. (Though one day soon I hope to move to southern California!)

Growing
numb to life, to his on-and-off girlfriend of many years, his career, even
Scotch, a man turns fifty. He is a translator who can no longer dream of
translating beautiful works of fiction. He is an amateur musician who can no
longer dream of expressing his life on a higher plane, without words. As he
glares inside himself he sees little but his declining sexuality, his crumbling
hold on life, a growing list of failed relationships, and a darkening well of
loneliness.
Stumbling
upon an image on the Internet one night, he suddenly hears cell doors sliding
open. He stares at a young woman, in profile, beautiful, unblinking, regal.
Instinctively he knows that by lingering on that image he will shatter a
relationship that has kept him on the sane side of loneliness as surely as if
he stepped in front of a speeding eighteen-wheeler. But desperate to feel alive
again before time runs out, he knows he must see the stranger behind the pixels
on his laptop screen.
Although
it is her image that first transfixes him, his eye afterwards chances on a
handful of words on the Internet page. She is a dominatrix. The word triggers
something inside him, blows the dust off fantasies trickling back to
adolescence, and slowly begins to re-choreograph his decades of sexual
memories. Was he ever really the dominant male he thought he was? Did he have a
sexual alter-ego? Was this the last card he had to play in life? The face on
the screen held the answer. He would find out even if it killed him.
** ARC provided by Obsessed by Books for an honest review **
He & She by Wayne Clark was very interesting to read. This was the first time read for me by this author. The story is told in flashbacks and how there is a lot of range of emotions going on in the book. In he & She we get to follow the life of Kit Cayman from being in love to having dreams. He goes from disappoints of failure until he meets a woman online. She is an Egyptian Princess who happens to be a dominatrix. After meeting the princess things start to change for Kit and takes a better turn for him.
This was a good read if you like the BDSM type of books then this book is also for you to try to read.
Review by Wendy Book Obsessed Pimpette
* * ARC given on behalf of obsessed by books for an honest review * * This book was something different, it's about a man who is having bad luck at life trying to decide what it is he wants, then he discovers BDSM and finds out he really enjoys it, I mean who wouldnt, but when he starts wanting more from Kelly it gets to be to much, cause that's something she can't do, so Kits life starts going downhill he starts, drinking, getting depressed it's just a losing battle I really felt sorry for him, although it was hard to read, the writing wasn't terrible.
I was given a copy of this book through Obsessed by Books for an honest review. From the beginning, I had a hard time concentrating on this book. It had a lot of extra material that, in my opinion, wasn't necessary, and made it hard for me to stick with it. I didn't like the way the prologue revealed the end of the book. It was sad and depressing, and made me dread reading it. Even though I didn't care for it, I can't take away the fact that Wayne Clark is a talented author. Just because I didn't care for it, don't let my opinion dissuade you from reading it. Please read the four and five star reviews before making a decision whether to read it or not.
Award-winning author Wayne Clark was born in 1946 in Ottawa, Ont., but has
called Montreal home since 1968. Woven through that time frame in no particular
order have been interludes in Halifax, Toronto, Vancouver, Germany, Holland and
Mexico.
By far the biggest slice in a pie chart of his career would be labelled
journalism, including newspapers and magazines, as a reporter, editor and
freelance writer. The other, smaller slices of the pie would also represent
words in one form or another, in advertising as a copywriter and as a
freelance translator. However, unquantifiable in a pie chart would be the
slivers and shreds of time stolen over the years to write fiction.
