Witchcraft. Reincarnation. True love. These are the things of legend. Unexplained, some even say impossible, but nonetheless prevalent in stories and tales from all cultures and in every land from the beginning of time. What if there is something to it? What if there is an explanation behind the mysteries and bedtime stories? Something beyond words? SALEM, MASSACHUSETTES 1692 She was taken from him in the cruelest way... condemned, sentenced and punished out of fear of the unknown. How is he supposed to live without her? How can he go on knowing that in this life, by the natural order of things, they will never be together? There's only one thing to do... only one option that will bring them together again. SALEM , MASSACHUSETTES TODAY Amelia is taken on a weekend excursion with her best girlfriends to let loose, relax and have a little fun. What harm is there in a little vacation? It's not like the legends, the haunted history of the place can scare them away. It's all harmless fun. Or so she thought. Something seems familiar about the town. The trees, the winds, the feel of everything. Her ever present nightmares have become more intense within the limits of the old historical setting. She's prepared to write off the whole trip as nothing more than a case of her mind running away with the sensationalized magic here. When she meets a handsome stranger who's eager to know her in a way no one else can, she begins to think there may be something more to this place, something more to him. Will has been waiting, biding his time, and praying that she'll come back. He's broken the natural order of things to possibly find her again, weaving their way through the years until they can be together again. He knows he may never find her, but he can't risk not trying. This place calls to her, just as it did to him. It will bring her back home. It will bring her back to him. What's 300 years when it comes to true love? He's prepared to wait an eternity if he has to, just to see her, hold her, kiss her again.. to make her remember what was stolen from them so long ago. To make her remember who she is, the power she possesses and the love they swore to each other.

Microsoft Word - Document1
Synopsis Orange
After being found back on earth and sentenced to eternity in a fiery prison down in hell, the demon, Axelle, suddenly finds herself pulled out of her misery by the Devil himself. He gives her a body, a crappy job and an even crappier apartment, but she doesn't really know why. All she knows is that she was taken out of one prison and put in another. One that makes her fire cell all the more appealing.
Her duller than dull job is made that much worse by hours of boredom--sheer torture for a hell-raiser such as herself--not to mention the colleagues she has to deal with, but then as the Devil, Luc, starts to take an unusual interest in her she starts to see the pluses of her existence.
Luc puts Axelle through a series of tests to see if she is worthy of an honor he has searched centuries for. No one has even come close to giving him what he wants, but when Axelle starts to defy the odds that are stacked so vehemently against her, his feelings towards her become more than just about the end result. It catches him off guard and his self-induced celibacy towards her makes his struggle even worse for a creature of no restraint. When Axelle is finally told why she has endured these trials and what is yet to come, her loyalty to her creator waivers and while he struggles to keep his hold on her, she has other ideas that don’t include Luc and his plans. Will she manage to escape the pits of hell for an unheard of third time? Or will she be stuck in the Devil’s idea of happily-ever-after? Book One of three of the Bound Series.

Publisher: Booktrope Publishing
 Re-release Date: May 22, 2015

Blurb

My life was perfect. I had everything I wanted, including the love of a man that intended to make all of my dreams come true.

Until…

“…the night my life as I knew it ended.”

In the blink of an eye, all I’d once known was ripped away. Suffering in limbo, full of fear and regret, I had only memories and dreams to comfort me, urging me to fight.

“…marriage is honourable in all, and the bed undefiled…”

But they stole it all.

Awakened to betrayal and pain, I struggle to find a new beginning. Yet the past seeps in, pulling me under. No matter how hard I try to keep my head above water, it threatens to ruin me.

How can I really live with my hopes for the future still frozen? And if the ice thaws, will I have the courage to build new dreams?

Excerpt

I didn’t remember how long the kiss lasted but I wished it could never end, even though it was one of many—probably thousands. I couldn’t go back and change the past, though, so I just had that kiss to hold on to, and I replayed every detail in my head that I could recollect.

Nothing really mattered anymore and new memories would not be made. The future had been stolen away from me and all I’d ever have was then. But this is now.

Blog Tour for Imperfect truth by Ava Harrison @avaharrison333

imperfecttruthblogtourbanner   Imperfect-Truth-EBOOK-FOR-WEB       SYNOPSIS   I’m a blogger. He’s a writer. He was my weakness. I was his muse. Once upon a time my marriage was built on love... Until it wasn’t. Where had we gone wrong? I had given up hope… But then he messaged me, And his words intoxicated me. Made me believe in love again. Made me believe in truth. My imperfect truth…     EXCERPT As we head over to the bar, Ryder pulls me by the hand, and we step onto the dance floor instead. The vibe is electric, as the patrons rhythmically move to the music. I close my eyes, allowing the beat to permeate my consciousness. Ryder pulls me toward him, swaying his body with mine. We slowly begin to dance. The warmth that emanates from his body is a beacon to my soul. As our bodies touch, sexual tension radiates between us. We move together in perfect sync. Our breath is coming out in short, ragged bursts. I feel sexy. I feel liberated. I feel free. Desire courses through me. This is all Ryder. He keeps me in a perpetual state of need. Sensing my urgency, he looks at me with an expression that sends chills down my spine. His need to consume me is palpable. He leans into me, breathing me in. I can feel the warmth tickle against my neck. My heartbeat becomes more erratic. His hand trails circles down my back, stroking lower and lower. He grazes the swell of my hip as I glide my fingertips up the side of his body. I stroke his torso ever so lightly as we continue to dance. Trailing my hands past his collarbone, I wrap my arms around his neck. I look up at him, and he smiles at me seductively, the curve of his mouth lifting so that it is barely noticeable.   "I want to taste you." His voice is husky.   I bite down on my lower lip as I take in his words. His fingertips trace the end of my black eyelet dress.   "I want to taste every part of you,” he says again in my ear, this time slower as his hand creeps under the hem. My skirt pushes higher up my leg as we continue to move our bodies against one another. I stop moving and just stand there panting, feeling dizzy with need. I’m hyper aware that his fingers are now tracing circles on the upper part of my thigh. They are almost connecting to the cotton covering my most intimate place. On an exhale, he touches me so softly, I feel as though I might have just imagined it. As he grazes my sensitive flesh on the top of my legs, my breath hitches.   I’m frozen in place knowing I need to stop this, but I’m unable to pull away.   His eyes penetrate mine, daring me to stop him. But just as quickly as this game has started, it ends as he pulls his hand away.   “No, not yet. I want you to be only mine. Your thoughts, your body, your every desire. Until you’re ready, I won't kiss you, I won't touch you, I won't taste you.” Copyright © 2015 by Ava Harrison     TEASERS Imperfect-Truth-teaser-9 Imperfect-Truth-teaser-4 Imperfect-Truth-teaser-3 Imperfect-Truth-teaser-2 Imperfect-Truth-teaser-2-2     Imperfect-Truth-teaser-1   Imperfect-Truth-teaser-7   Imperfect-Truth-teaser-5   Imperfect-Truth-teaser-10   Copyright © 2015 by Ava Harrison         BUYTHEBOOK

He's going above and beyond the call of duty...
Avery Yeung's biological clock just went off early. Thanks to her family's medical history, she's running out of time to get knocked up. And the only guy within donating distance? Her overprotective-and irritatingly hot-best friend. So clearly she needs an anonymous donor...
Anonymous donor? Over Sheriff Drew Flannery's dead body. While daddyhood will never be in the cards for a man with his past, Drew won't let Avery shop for a "popsicle pop." He'll do what's right for his best friend by doing his best friend. But only if they do it properly.
But there's nothing "proper" about it. Between the bed, the kitchen counter, and against his squad car, Avery and Drew are having the hottest sex ever. They can't get enough of it-or each other. And without knowing it, they've crossed the one line that could ruin their friendship forever...

Excerpt #1
He jumped, and then climbed to his feet when Avery did, and followed her to the plump older nurse. She smiled at them, making him wonder if she were someone’s grandmother—the kind who made cookies and read bedtime stories and…
What the hell was he even thinking?
As soon as they turned the corner from the waiting room, she handed him a small clear cup that had a sticker with his information on it. “You’ll put the specimen in here, please.”
The nurse opened a door. “You can leave the cup in the room when you’re done.” She smiled at Avery. “You’re welcome to go into the room with him, but we ask that you ensure there’s no saliva or other fluids involved so you don’t contaminate the specimen.”
Avery made a choked noise. “That’s so not going to be a problem.”
The nurse laughed and patted her shoulder. “I’ve heard that one before, honey. I’ll just leave you to it.”
He barely waited for her to disappear back around the corner before he turned to examine the room. It looked like an entire frat house’s stash of porn had exploded in there. “Isn’t this a little much for a few tests?”
She looked at him like he was an idiot. “How else are you going to get your engine running?
Besides, this isn’t about tests—though I’m sure they’ll run a few. You wanted to help me make a baby, so let’s make a baby. Now go get ‘em, Champ.”
Jesus Christ. She expected him to leave a specimen so the doctor could shoot it up her…
Apparently when they’d talked about making a baby, something had gotten lost in translation.
“You’re shitting me.”
“Nope.” She slid past him into the room and meandered around, stopping in front of the television and eyeing the collection of DVDs on the shelf next to it. “Oh, look, they have Busty Blondes #37. I seem to remember you having one of these videos back in high school.”
He grabbed her shoulders and tried to steer her away from the shelf. “Not interested.”
Truth was, his inspiration for self sessions had migrated toward pretty Asian women who looked a whole lot like the one standing in the room with him.
“If you’re not into the DVDs, they have magazines, too.” She poked one with her finger. “Though this one appears a bit crusty.”
“Christ, stop touching things. Do you know what men do in here?”
She rolled her eyes. “Yeah, Drew, that’s kind of the point. They come in here, watch or read whatever tickles their fancy, and then masturbate into that sanitary little cup right there.”
When she said ‘masturbate’ he thought his head might actually explode. “Avery—”
“Are you worried about hitting your mark? That is kind of a small cup. Want me to go find something bigger?”
God, she was killing him. It would have been so much more bearable if he thought she was kidding, but Avery was drop dead serious. It was a sign of her nervousness that she hadn’t cracked a joke since he got into her Jeep.
He couldn’t do it.

Excerpt #2
What was the problem? She bit back the question. It didn’t really matter. All that mattered was that he kept touching her. He ran his hands down her spine, stopping just before reaching the cuffs. Then he pulled her into a standing position, using his hips to keep her pinned against the side of the Jeep, and repeated the process with the front of her body.

Or he started to. It stopped being a cursory exploration as soon as he reached her breasts. He cupped her, squeezing. “Why the hell aren’t you wearing a bra?”
He lightly pinched her nipples and she shivered. “I wasn’t aware I was talking to the fashion police.”
“Do you know what it does to me knowing you’re driving around, a short step away from being topless?” His breath brushed the back of her neck and over one shoulder, raising goose bumps in its wake.
Probably the same thing it did to Avery. She didn’t make a habit of going braless, but she might start if this was the reaction she got. She took a shaky breath. “Then I guess you better not do a panty check.”
Drew froze for one eternal second. Then he pushed her back down over the hood of her Jeep and dragged her skirt up to bunch around her hips. A breeze chose that moment to hit—as if she needed the reminder of just how exposed she was. But then he slid a hand between her legs, and she didn’t care much about anything else at all.
“You’re already wet.” He teased her, fingers brushing her clit, her entrance, and back again, nothing close to what she needed. “I think you like it when I toss you around.”
She gritted her teeth, fighting against the need to spread her legs to give him better access, and beg for him to just touch her. “Nah. I was touching myself while I was driving.”
“Really?” He kept up his maddening route. “And what were you thinking about?”
Hell, if she actually had started early, she’d have been thinking about him. Yesterday had given her plenty of ammunition for fantasies. No way in hell would she admit as much, though. “Sean Connery. Obviously.”
“Obviously.” His laugh was a little harsh. “Guess I’ll have to up my game if I want you in the here and now, huh?”
Up his game? Only if he wanted to kill her. Avery couldn’t admit she was so affected. She wouldn’t. It was just sex—and sex with a deadline, at that. She let her cheek rest against the cool metal of the hood, striving for control. “I don’t know. Sean Connery is a pretty tough act to follow.”
“Sean Connery, huh?”
“Yep.” She was lying through her teeth and she had a pretty good idea that he knew it. His fingers pushed deeper, spreading her until she couldn’t help but rock against him. She gritted her teeth. “He was really good.”
“I bet.” His lips found the back of her neck. “It’s a shame you have to settle for me.”
The ass didn’t sound the least bit bothered by it, either.
She hissed out a breath at the feeling of his palm cupping her. Owning her. It wasn’t supposed to be this intense. She closed her eyes, but that only made it worse, because she couldn’t pretend she was with anyone else but Drew.
She didn’t want to.

ABOUT THE AUTHOR
Katee Robert
katee robert bio.jpg
New York Times & USA TODAY Bestselling Author

Katee Robert learned to tell stories at her grandpa’s knee. Her favorites then were the rather epic adventures of The Three Bears, but at age twelve she discovered romance novels and never looked back.

Though she dabbled in writing, life got in the way—as it often does—and she spent a few years traveling, living in both Philadelphia and Germany. In between traveling and raising her two wee ones, she had the crazy idea that she’d like to write a book and try to get published.

Her first novel was an epic fantasy that, God willing, will never see the light of day. From there, she dabbled in YA and horror, before finally finding speculative romance. Because, really, who wouldn’t want to write entire books about the smoking-hot relationships between two people?

She now spends her time—when not lost in Far Reach worlds—playing imaginary games with her wee ones, writing, ogling men, and planning for the inevitable zombie apocalypse.

18707455Series: Four Letters #1
Release date: May 15th 2015
Purchase: Amazon

Synopsis via Goodreads:
What do you do when the love of your life is halfway across the world?

If you’re Jade Reamer, you fill that void with writing depressing song lyrics, hanging out with asshole exes, and re-reading your dead best friend’s diary (morbid, anyone?). But she’s got a lot to deal with—getting to know her biological family, for one. Not to mention getting through her first year of university without her best friend, Nina, by her side.

Then there are the men in Jade’s life. Her ex, Connor, has baggage coming out of his ass since the car accident. Her brother, Bryn, thinks stifling who he really is while pretending everything’s okay … is okay. When that’s far from the truth. And Reed? Reed decides the best way for Jade to deal with his absence is to get her a dog. And when he finally comes back?

Well, things aren't exactly the same.

Deciphering between love and hate is the least of Jade’s problems … those four letter words are getting more and more complicated. Especially when she and Reed are keeping secrets from each other. Because as she forms new relationships and rekindles old ones, an unexpected surprise has got Jade’s mouth spewing lies on top of the usual curse words.

But little white lies won’t hurt anybody, right?

Note: This full-length novel follows the novella, Those Four Letter Words.

EXCERPT

Today was definitely not my day.

First of all, I woke up late. Waking up late was not the best thing to do when I went to a school that I actually paid for. Because now it just ruined my entire mood, starting the day in the whole mindset of being behind. I had to rush for everything.

I had to rush out of bed when the snooze alarm finally woke me up. I had to rush into the bathroom to brush my teeth, and take the fastest shower known to mankind. I had to rush to change into something that wouldn’t make me sweat in the car, yet wouldn’t make me freeze while sitting in class because the heater broke down. I had to rush to eat a bowl of cereal. I had to rush to drink my coffee, and that was just not right. I had to rush as I drove to school while trying not to break any laws. I had to rush down the hall and quietly take my seat when I finally reached my classroom.

Without my backpack.

“Shit,” I sighed to myself, slapping my palm against my forehead.
