1.
What are your pet peeves or
interesting things about you that you dislike?
Pet peeves? Mmm, I don’t
like intolerant people. I especially don’t like when someone (usually the
hubby) cuts fresh bread wonky!
2.
Name one of your favourite
things about someone in your family.
My hubby is a funny guy,
he can always make me laugh. Except today, today he annoyed me.
3.
If you had to describe yourself
using three words, it would be…
Random, loyal,
generous
4.
If you were to create a slogan
for your life, what would it be? (Example: Eat, drink, and be merry, for
tomorrow, we all die.)
One life – live
it.
5.
If you could visit any place in
the world, where would you choose to go and why?
Bora Bora and
the Cook Islands are on my wish list. I love to scuba dive and both those
destinations offer some of the worlds best diving.
6.
Which body part would you
choose to get a tattoo done?
I have a tattoo
on my stomach and one on my back. I’d like the stomach one covered with something
that snakes around my waist and creeps up my back.
7.
What's the one thing, you can't
live without?
My heart, that
would make life a little tricky ;) Seriously, my family. They annoy the life
out of me sometimes but we are very close and they are very supportive.
8.
What's your motto in life?
As above, One
Life – Live It. We spend a lot of time worrying about things we cannot change
that we forget to live sometimes. We’re a long time dead.
9.
Sitting alone in a big field,
looking at stars, what do you think/feel?
Free. The
universe is infinite, and so should our dreams and hopes.
10. If you had the opportunity to live one year of your life over again,
which year would you choose?
Oh, God. I don’t
think I would. Whatever I’ve already done has shaped me to be the person I am
now. I don’t believe in going backwards, only striving to moving forwards.
11. Tell us something nobody knows about you
I’m a pretty
open book, but…I have a fear of being buried/cremated alive so I want my heart
removed to ensure I’m dead!
12. Listener or talker?
Both. I do have
a habit of talking over people sometimes, it’s usually because I’ve just
remembered something or I’m excited about what ever it was that popped into my
mind.
13. What are you afraid of?
Dying a painful
death, mainly. That was a bit macabre, wasn’t it? On a lighter note, spiders. I
don’t do spiders very well.
14. Where do you live?
Kent, UK.
Although I’m on the move soon.
15. Do you do dance crazy when no one is looking?
Maybe when I was
twenty years younger, but the old knees don’t allow for that nowadays.
16. What's your favourite love story? (movie or book)
My own ;) I have
such a short memory that I can tell you the plot, but not remember the name of
the characters, actors, or the title!
17. What is the best thing you have done in your life?
Write a book!
Being an author has opened my world to new friends and experiences I would have
never had the chance to before.
18. Have you ever had the feeling you were being watched?
Yes! And when I
checked there was a man standing outside my window with a shotgun! True story,
that.
19. Favourite place to eat?
Life’s A Beach
on Summerleaze Beach in Bude. I love it that much I made sure to feature it in
one of my books.
20. Name one funny trait you have that you would like others to know.
I twitch my
nose, often when I’m anxious.
21. What does your room look like?
Which one? My
kitchen is a little messy right now. I work from the dining table, which
currently has the laptop, phone, notes, glasses, a mug of tea, folders, bank
card (must remember to put that away), and a pencil sharpener on it.
22. Share one funniest, one silliest and one wackiest status you have
put up on a social networking site.
I can’t share it
on here but Rebecca Sherwin, my nephew, and I played Bean Boozle recently. We
videoed ourselves, it wasn’t a pleasant experience at all!
23. What is your favourite quote?
‘Life is not
about the destination, but the journey.’
24. What is the craziest thing you've done lately?
Sell my house
and have nowhere to live!
25. Once, just to attract attention, I...
Shaved my hair
off.
26. If you could be invisible for a day, what would you do?
Break into the
lottery HQ and see if it’s fixed!
27. Have you ever gone cow-tipping?
I have no idea
what that even is.
28. If you could have been told one thing that you weren't told when you
were a teenager, what would you like to have heard?
My parents had
the attitude that, as a very independent and strong willed person, I was to
make my own mistakes in life. That’s not to say there was no guidance, of
course. I can’t think of anything to be honest. Boring, I know! Maybe I’d have
liked to have been told not to date a certain individual but I doubt I would
have taken any notice.
29. You have multiple personalities, describe some of them.
Mrs Angry, she
get’s seriously riled at injustice.
Mrs Fighter, now
she’s interesting. She’ll fight until she has no breath left for a cause that’s
worthy.

We fell silent, looking at the view below. He lifted his hand and moved some hair from my shoulder exposing my neck. Lowering his head, he placed a small kiss on the side. His eyes met mine in the reflection of the glass; there was a question in them.
I should have been outraged but I wasn’t, I just felt an immediate attraction to him. A fire raged in the pit of my stomach, my heart missed a beat, fluttering in my chest, and I felt my legs start to shake. I wanted to lean back into him, to feel his body against mine. All the time I faced the glass wall with him behind me watching his reflection.
“I want you, Brooke,” he softly said.
I couldn’t answer; I felt entranced and all rational thought left my brain, leaving nothing but an overwhelming desire for him. I gently nodded my head.
He unzipped my dress and it fell, crumpled to my feet leaving me standing in just my underwear and shoes. I stepped out of the dress and wanted to turn to face him but he held my hips, keeping me still. With one hand he ran his fingers up my spine sending shivers through my body. His hands travelled over my shoulders and down my arms, holding them to my waist while his lips trailed a path from my neck to my ear. I wanted to reach up, to run my hand through his hair, and to touch him, but all the time he held me still.
A small moan escaped my lips and I felt him smile at my response. A burn started between my legs, my body was aching with desire for him. One arm circled my waist and with the other he ran his fingers down my throat, over the top of my breasts and down my stomach.
“Do you know what I want to do, Brooke? I want to watch you come and then I want to fuck you.”
