Oh my stars Ann you really outdid your self with this one. Alexandr's Cherished Sumbmissive was a great story to read and enjoy. I loved reading about Jessica and Alexandr this book was one of my favorite's so far this year. I really liked the characters and the story that was written. Mafia books is one of my favorite genre's to read. This book was intense, action mafia style and some sexy scenes in it. Jessica had a hard time growing up she lost both of her parents and was adopted at a young age. She is put under the protection of Alexandr when Jessica goes to live with her family in Ireland.

Wow, what a great series to follow and read looking forward to seeing what happens next.

After reading the prequel to this, I was excited to read this book and Clarissa has not disappointed yet again....

This is one hell of a dark and twisted read, there are so many twists and turns, you will never know where you are going and you will always be guessing wrong.

Phoenix is a killer, a man you don't want to involve yourself in, or cross as he will come after you with vengeance in mind. For some reason though he is one of those characters that you love to hate. You have to think there must be a reason for him to be the way he is, and we find out all the reasons that he is in this book. It is not what you think, I was surprised.

Vanessa is a person that in the beginning, you will think is a victim in all of this, but she is just as dark and twisted as Phoenix.

I loved reading this book, you have everything you want in a read, dark, twisted, hot scenes, mysteries unravelled.

Clarissa has a way with her writing that just pulls you in from page one, and it is a book that you don't want to put down until you have finished. It is better though if you read the prequel first as then you will have more an understanding of what is going on.

This was a great book. Liv isn't happy with the way her life is , to her it's pretty flat and boring, it's lacking so when her friend tells her he's taking an international job it gives her an idea. on her trip to Spain Liv starts seeing herself differently and enjoy what Spain has to offer including a sexy beast name Sebastian. There is chemistry between them both and they take a journey together, but of course nothing is perfect, can they survive issues of the past , will Liv trust or put up walls again, I really enjoyed this book.

“So how did you like our wine?” he gestures with a hint of a knowing glee at the half empty evidence on the table. “Umm, it was good.” He cocks an eyebrow. “Frankly, I’m not much of a wine person. My mind is completely in the gutter now as I stare at him, completely unabashed. I’m sure if his eyes were open, instead of closed in cookie ecstasy, he would see the pure hunger I have for him, not the cookies, in my eyes as I sit here and imagine the various other situations where I would love to hear him say those words.

I try to shake it off but not before he opens his eyes and catches me staring at him. When his eyes widen, I know he sees what I was hoping he wouldn’t. I catch a similar look in his eyes before I turn my head away and shove a cookie in my own mouth.

Not my best move, that’s for sure, especially when I start choking on a crumb. I quickly swallow down the cookie in my mouth with a chug of milk and proceed to try and cough out the crumb.

Chase pats my back. “You okay?” he asks, concern etching his voice.

I nod as I take another sip of milk. “Wrong pipe,” I rasp out.

Out of the corner of my eye, I swear I see a small grin on his face. I’m so embarrassed. If I thought it was embarrassing having Chase witness my anxiety attack, this is so much worse. First, he catches me looking like I want to eat him. Then, he watches me stuff a whole cookie into my mouth and proceed to choke on it. This is just great. Why can’t I just be normal?

I live in South Carolina with my husband and our fur-kids. By day I’m an office manager, and by night I am a student, starting my final semester towards my BA in Psychology. I’ll be starting grad school in the fall. When I’m not at work or taking classes, I am either reading or writing. Books have always been a passion! I also enjoy spending time with my family, traveling to new places, and music.

My Reading and Writing History

I started reading when I was young, I loved Golden Books, especially the mini-ones you’d get in a kid’s meal! As a preteen I read lots of R.L. Stine, and even some Stephen King! I hated the assigned readings in school because I didn’t like being told what to read, so I never read those. As a young adult, I found interest in James Patterson – I love his crime dramas! I took a break from reading for fun for a bit when I decided to get my college degree and had to read loads of text books. But it was all over once I read Hopeless by Colleen Hoover, as recommended by my sister. New Adult/Contemporary Romance is my genre of choice, to read and to write. I probably average reading a book or more a day. It’s a great addiction.

I’ve always enjoyed writing to an extent. I always liked to journal and blog. Since I’ve been reading new adult romance novels, I have been having ideas for what might be a great story line for a book. I fought with myself for a long time before finally starting my first book. I have no idea where it’s going to lead me, but you’ll never know unless you try.
