The final perspective in the Angel MC series we relive the chain of events from Hilary's POV as she tells her side to this heart breaking gut wrenchingcrollercoaster ride of teenage love, high school romance and adult tragedy. Six individuals brought together as friends, bonded through experience and hurt, strengthened in love and pain are finally ready to face their pasts and deal with their ghosts.
Mason and Hilary fall in love as children, marry young and doubts force them apart as they take a wrong turn in their relationship. Personal loss causes a rift and Mason dives in to club life quickly earning his club name of Reaper. Hilary wants to persue her career working long hours to qualify as a lawyer and Mason finds himself immersed in the darker side of the MC. Secrets and poor judgements lead to ten years apart, during which neither of them can move on, constantly haunted by the should haves/would haves.
The actions of all three couples are viewed through Hilary's eyes and we gain a better understanding of the impact of choices, decisions, secrets and promises kept. The bonds of friendship are tested to their limits pushing the boundaries of love to the edge of endurance. This is the gripping finale of the servicees. Will Hilary and Reaper overcome their trust issues, can they forgive the secrets of the past? Can they accept the people they have become and learn to love one another for who they now are? Can Angel move past the years of hurt and accept Edens reasoning, understand her motives and see through the loss to embrace the love of his life? Will Lilly and Zippo ever manage to deal with the living proof of his double life, a lasting reminder of his infidelity?
Not everyone is who they appear to be and as we found out in book two there is a hidden agenda for some. Can our favourite members of Angel MC figure things out in time to save the day and get their girl? The plot thickens and the thirst for power and revenge is unquenchable, pushing people to extreme measures. This book had big fat ugly tears roll down my cheeks, the writing was emotive and tender. It touches that what if? nerve and makes us realise that it's never too late and to live each day as if it's your last. The truth may have set them all free but hindsight is a wonderful thing. Can our sassy strong ladies get their guys? Can our alpha males see past their hurts to embrace and win back the women they love? This is a story of love, friendship and forgiveness.
