Melissa
Elaine frowned up at me. “Mel? Are you okay?”
She started to rise, but I held out my hand. “Please stay. I just… I need to go. I’ll have dinner in the room.”
“But you don’t have a key!”
“I’ll get one from the front desk. Please… just stay.” I turned and hastened to the restaurant exit.
Elaine spoke again, and the low sound of male voices joined hers, but I didn’t stop. My heart was flying, and I was out the door, fast-walking through the convention center hall in less than a minute.
I’d intended to exit the way we’d come in, but somehow, I’d gotten turned around. Now I was headed in the direction of the small bar from our very first night. Between me and it were three signs for men, women, and the large “family” bathroom. I paused, trying to remember the quickest way back to the spa side of the resort. Just then, I felt a presence approaching quickly. I started to go, but Derek’s voice stopped me.
“Wait,” he said, touching my arm.
I turned so abruptly, he bumped into me, catching me in his strong embrace, his familiar woodsy scent all around me. “Oh,” I said, clutching his solid arms, looking up into his intense blue eyes. Energy rushed through me so hard, I was sure he could see it. I almost felt like I could see it reflected in his own eyes.
“Here,” he said glancing around quickly before pulling me into the family bathroom.
I only had a moment to observe how very clean it was before he had me against the wall, pinned by his huge physique.
“You never came.” His voice was a low, husky whisper. “I waited all night.”
My hands rested on his chest, and heat flamed through me with every heartbeat. My eyes traveled up, up, up to his. They were darkened now, and I was certain he was thinking the same thing as me. He remembered how fantastically our bodies came together two nights ago. I barely registered him reaching out to lock the door.
“I’m sorry,” was all I could say.
“When you walked in the restaurant tonight… god, you’re so beautiful.” He spoke against my skin as his lips pressed into my brow, his beard roughing my closed eyelids. “Are you feeling bad?”
“No,” I managed to say despite the heat surging through me as his lips moved to my temple. “I… didn’t think I could eat.”
“Good,” he said in a thick voice before covering my mouth with his. Mine opened quickly, drawing him in. Our tongues entwined before his lips moved to my jaw then down my neck. “I thought about you all day.” His breath whispered across my skin, and I couldn’t stop a surge of desire low in my stomach. “Will you let me have you here?”
“Yes,” I barely spoke, and he dropped to his knees.
He gathered the thin fabric of my dress, shoving it up to my waist as he caught the side of my thong with his thumb.

Holy crap I don't know where to begin or what to say.
I was taken on a roller-coaster ride.
This book is amazing. I couldn't put it down, I kept wanting to read and turn pages to find out what happens next, I so full of emotions that I don't know whether to cry, laugh, be pissed but I never saw it coming.
Marly truly loves her husband and wants it all, heck she has it all, but his time. Cole is always putting work first and knows he could NY do it without Marley that's why he ask her to help with a client while he's gone yet again.
when Marley meets the new client River Holtz she smells all kinds of trouble but she gets taken to a side that she likes but shouldn't. holy smokes this book is so good, you have to read it and trust me you will not put it down.

“Do you shower yourself in arrogance every morning, Mr. Holtz? You may want to use a little less next time.” My toes curl in the water, but I hold my voice steady.
He grips my hips, sliding my body close to his. If his cock is any indication, he’s just as turned on by this back and forth as I am. “Just admit you like it. You like having someone take care of your every need. You like having all my attention, and you definitely like my cock.”

This was a first for me reading Arianne but it will not be the last, she pulled me in from the the start.

Pearl is a single, divorced woman just looking for fun, her days of be living in anything passionate or real is gone, until she meets a sexy CEO Alexander.

Alexander makes Pearl feel things she's never felt before, but will things stay so good when she has a secret that could be so bad?
Alexander is tired of all the hook ups, the flashing lights, he just wants normal, a relationship, a slow pace life and when he meets Pearl he believes that is what he has, then he finds out the truth. can they last, will they last? I truly enjoyed the dual pov and I can't wait to see where Alexander and Pearl end up.

This was a first time read for me by this author. I really liked this book it was very interesting I never read the others before so this was a first for me. I liked the POV between the characters it was entertaining and enjoyable. I liked how the story flowed and how it keeps you reading to find out what is going to happen next. Hooked Up tells the story of Pearl and Alexandre which was good all together. Can't wait to see what happens next.

I didn’t consider myself a “multi-tasker” by nature—not even when it came to women.

Quality, not quantity, was what I was aiming for.

I was beginning to realize that my mantra of treating women well was backfiring on me.

You see I have a code:

• No woman is a “slut.” Ever. I do not use that word in my vocabulary.
