Always in the shadows he is a swoon worthy alpha male that let's the thing he loves most free...but will she ever come back?
Skye is juvenile and blinded by her fear; fear of the danger the club puts her in, fear that there is something more out there, fear that she is missing out on other experiences. Skye is not a loveable character, she doesn't see the worth of what she has until others point it out to her. Wanting what she can't have even though she's already had it. She is a perfectly imperfect biker brat that needed a spanking over her daddy's knee! Danny let's her go...doesn't seem to fight for her but she doesn't fight for him either. He is stoic, she is childish and yet together they somehow work. The club has lots going on. Business still has to be settled and blood will be shed. It's great to catch up with some of much loved favourites although this is a very angst heavy instalment in this series. I love Bella Jewels writing style, her stories flow effortlessly and I can never put my Kindle down until the story is done. Even though Skye proved not to be one of my favourite leading ladies I loved Danny, maybe as I enjoy a brooding alpha male. The catch up was fantastic and overall I really enjoyed this.
