Sebastian is a bad bad man. He tries to push Lillith away, he warns her but to no avail so he decides to keep her! At the end of Seek Lillith had escaped the institute and has tracked down her lifeline. This continues where that book ends and we continue the hauntingly captivating dark romance that unfolds.

Sebastian needs to be in control, he needs to dominate. Lillith is his perfect companion as she wants to be broken, to submit. In herind he is her only saviour in a world that has seemingly gone mad. Written in a dual POV we witness her own self loathing as his debased sexual desires equally turn her on and shame her. We travel the corridors of her fractured mind and slowly with the twisted therapy of Sebastian learn what she has locked away within herself. The truth ...ahhhhh my mind is reeling.

No plot summary required just suffice to say...read this now or you will be punished ;) The sex scenes are panty melting hot, not that Sebastian would allow you to wear any. The plot takes a fast paced corkscrew ride into crazy town as everything you think you know is stripped back and revealed. Honestly this is one of the best dark reads so far, it's relentless and doesn't stop playing with your mind. Lillith falls hard and gives her love to him unconditionally. Sebastian in his own way surrenders his soul to her. Is it enough? Can't wait for the next one..

London Beck and Alex Demasi reunite again for Dark Stirrings #2 'This Venom Shade' in their paranormal erotic series. I adored This Dark Shade and book two does not fail to live up to and exceeds book one with chills, thrills and kills.

The first tale is Thrall by Alex Demasi and sees a tangled web of lies and deceit play out in this darkly, disturbing but captivating tale. The thrillingly erotic pages kept teasing me to read on whilst the hairs on the back of my neck said beware!!! 

The tale follows Brendan Kingsley, a young wayward freeloader who wants nothing more from life than sex, drugs and rock and roll. His older brother Glenn has had enough of his ways and decides to dish out his own form of rehab at a boat club, well away from all of life's temptations. But, other forces are at work and the unsuspecting brothers are about to meet one very hypnotic, powerful and deceptive lady called Ursula and discover how far people have to go for those they love to stay safe, even when facing a threat that defies the realms of reality. 

Book two by London Beck is The Girls Next Door. This is a cautionary tale about being careful what you wish for. Andrew Metcalfe is a college student whose down on his luck. He is curious, bordering on Peeping Tom towards his beautiful dark haired neighbour and his curiosity lures him to discover more about them. Their his one enjoyment in his depressingly lonely life.

This novella is loosely based on the classic Cinderella tale with two beautiful sisters being cared for, protected and tended to by a dark haired beauty. Rest assured, Selene, Andrew's fixation, needs no prince charming to save her.

This novella is full of shocks, twists and turns and many scenes to scare you as their chillingly realistic. Believe me just when you think you know what's going on it turns out your wrong!! I devoured this book in one siting and now need my next Dark Stirrings fix soon!!

AUTHOR'S NOTE: This past summer I traveled to Edinburgh, Scotland for a book signing. It was my first trip outside of the US and I was nervous as hell. While I was on the plane and begging for my motion sickness medication to kick in, I started thinking about a character I didn’t “know” yet. Every now and then I will get a character’s voice in my head and not have a story for them. More often than not, my books start with just one character. I don’t know where the story is going, or what they’re going to do. I only have their voice guiding me. I told myself I wasn’t going to work on anything new on my trip, since I already had existing deadlines. But of course the voice ignored me. He kept talking to me. I couldn’t resist, so I started working on his story in my gorgeous hotel room with its view of Edinburgh castle. I wrote some more words at the Elephant House, which is where J. K. Rowling started writing the first Harry Potter book. Over vegetable lasagna and jasmine tea, a story started to develop. It was different than anything I’d ever written. Told completely from a male point of view. It was also a romantic suspense, something I’d been dying to try writing, but didn’t think I had the ability to do. I called my mother in my excitement and her words were “that’s completely different than anything you’ve ever written.” This is that story. And since this story is so completely different, I’m doing something different when I release it. In February (date to be determined), you will not only get the first book on that day, Behind Your Back, you will also be able to buy the sequel, Back To Back! No weeks or months of waiting to find out what happens. You can read the two books in one day if you want. Instant gratification. I hope you fall in love with these books as much as I have while writing them.  



  TEASER: She wears a wig and colored contacts the first time I see her in person. Her electric green eyes are too memorable, even in a crowd. But underneath the plain brown wig and the brown contacts and the bored expression she wears, something shines through that she can’t cover up. I recognize it right away, even if I wouldn’t have been searching for her. Raising myself from my chair, I cross the coffee shop. She watches her phone, pretending to be the kind of girl who can’t abandon her Facebook page for longer than three seconds. But I know. I know her. Her finger hovers over the screen of the phone, her shoulders slump, but her foot jiggles just a little bit. Not enough for anyone but me to notice. But I see it. I see her. Oh no she freaking didn't...yes she did! The jaw dropping unexpected ending is an edge of your seat I'm now sat rocking in shock waiting for the next book revelation...Marcus does something that is selfless! Page by page we see him coldly take an innocent naive woman's trust and manipulate her until she is so deeply in love it's breaking her. He likes her sass and her fierce protective nature towards her mother who she works so hard to care for. He is drawn to her as she is beautiful and a contrast to all the other women he has had in his bed. We watch as she slowly is ripped apart by him and the distance he keeps between them.

The dual POV works so well and we gain a better insight into Marcus and the lengths he is willing to go to to save his family business. He is one of the bad men...trying not to be so bad. Katia journey has some major life changing events as she gets married to man who's like a robot unless he's f**king her and meets her father ...another very bad man and her three brothers...undecided how bad they are at this point! The plot is fast paced, with twists and turns you won't see coming.

My heart was in my mouth by the end and then it did just end....deviously clever Bella Jewel! An amazing five star read. You will find me staring at my kindle, rocking in a corner until I get book 2 ;)
