Blog Tour: Conviction by Lesley Jones @LesleyKJones

Conviction by Lesley Jones Book Summary

She was mine. Our love unquestioned. Our futures planned. But she didn't show. All that we had, all that we meant, and after all that was said, she just didn't show. That one act by her changed everything, but it especially changed me and from that moment on, there was no going back. No words of love, no whispered promises, just sex and drugs and rock and roll. No one gets a piece of Reed, but what they will get is the night of their life, the chance to let go, break their own rules and enjoy the best, the dirtiest, filthiest sex ever... Along with the other four people in my bed.
I thought he loved me, I believed everything he said, every promise that he made but then, when I needed him more than I'd needed anyone in my life, when I was at my most vulnerable, he let me down. He chose to take a different path and leave me to pick up the pieces of my now broken life. I was changed forever and chose the easy option, letting others take charge of my destiny, until once again, I'm let down in the cruelest of ways.
Dirty filthy sex.
Love.
Heartbreak.
Betrayal.
High emotion.
And a bit more sex.
Conviction by International bestselling author, Lesley Jones has it all. Out March 2015.

Review by Emma Mistress of all Dark & Twisted

Conviction by Lesley Jones is one emotional and all consuming read that grabs your attention from the start and never lets you go on this journey of Rockstars, lost loves, pain and how some people you'll never forget no matter how much it hurts to remember them. Lesley is an author who can always make me laugh out loud, cry devastated tears and feel the need for many cold showers with each of her books and Conviction is no different.

This book follows Conner Reed world renowned Rock God and lead guitarist for the band Shift. This sexy, dirty blonde haired, 34 year old multi hued eyed male is closed off physically and emotionally but finds release in being one hell of a sexual deviant. If you want one night of wild abandon he's your man but you'll get no more than that, relationships and return hook ups aren't his thing. He wasn't always this way, he once opened his heart and soul to another and their love was written in the stars but his 'Meebs' let him down and never looked back. She broke his heart, so he has closed it off. Now 15 years later he has everything life can offer him except the one thing he's only ever wanted in life.

Nina 'Meebs' Matthews is the diminutive, faired haired angel who caught Conner's eye from childhood. She adored Conner, even though they were from opposite end of the social scale and believed they were destined for forever. Then when she needed him the most he let her down in the worst possible way. So 'Meebs' immersed herself in studying and becoming a successful hairdresser. Being a steady, reliable and dutiful daughter and allowing others to make her decisions means she can't get hurt again, doesn't it??

Now 15 years later after the night that left them both feeling angry, hurt, betrayed and unable to move on past the pain; one is immersing themselves in excess, rule breaking and debauchery whilst the other hides the pain by following the rules and living a mere existence. Once your heart has been broken it changes you irrevocably. When fate reconnects these two first loves again will they be able to move on from the truth of that night or will betrayals, heart ache, rockstar excess and personal vendettas be too much to endure to give each other another a second chance or will their Conviction in their love be enough to control their own destiny??

I think this is my favourite if Lesley's books so far. I'm still thinking about this books days later, just buy it, read it and be prepared to fall under the spell of Conner and his 'Meebs'.

Lesley Jones Biography
I was born and raised in a small working class town in Essex, just outside of East London. I am married with three sons and in 2006 we all moved to the other side of the world, settling on the beautiful Mornington Peninsula, about 50K outside of Melbourne, Australia. It's a whole new way of life for us down here, we are so lucky to live in such a beautiful part of the world.
I am currently a stay at home mum but in the past I have worked at Marks & Spencer, as a classroom assistant/teachers aid and have run my business.
As well as writing, I love to read and have been known to get through four or five books a week. My other interests are watching my boys play football...The round ball version.  I am happy to admit to being an addict of social media and I owe a lot to my Facebook and Twitter family in promoting my work. I am also rather partial to a glass... or bottle of wine, a nicely chilled Marlborough Sav Blanc being my favorite. Being a born and raised Essex girl, I will happily admit to be being a big fan of spray tans, Shellac and am regularly, waxed, tinted and sculpted, although I am more likely to be found in thongs/flipflops than a pair of white stilettos these days.

Review: Before I Fall by Jessica Scott @jessicascott09

Before I Fall (Falling #1)

Stay focused. Get a job. Save her father's life.

Beth Lamont knows far too much about the harsh realities of life her gilded classmates have only read about in class. She'll do whatever it takes to take care of her father, even if that means tutoring a guy like Noah - a guy who represents everything she hates about the war, soldiers and what the Army has done to her family.

Noah Warren doesn't know how to be a student. All he knows is war. But he's going to college now to fulfill a promise and he doesn't break his promises. Except he doesn't count on his tutor being drop dead gorgeous and distracting as hell. One look at Beth threatens to unravel the careful lies Noah has constructed around him.

A simple arrangement turns into something neither of them can deny. And a war that neither of them can forget could destroy them both.

this book was very touching, it showed just a glimpse of what could be in a soldiers life when they are home for good, they have to learn how to live. Beth is the other surviving from war, she may not have been the the fight line, but she's fighting to keep the ones that suffer here alive and it's not easy to care for a farther that's a vet thst hurts everyday and checks out occasionally, but Beth is doing what she can.
Noah has been home for 6 mos. and learning to adjust to normal, which will never be but he chooses to make a better life for himself and if he finds love along the way a bonus. Beth and Noah meet when Beth agrees to tutor Noah in stats and they form a friendship that shortly turns romantic. Noah tries to be the rock Beth needs, but soon realizes that he still needs to work on the past. this two are explosive. Beth is a very strong person even in moments of weaknesses she pushes through to see the good. This was a great story of love, and healing. definitely a must read. 5 out of 5.

This was my first time reading a book by J.C. Valentine. I was amazed how the story was written and how it hooked me on the first page. This book was funny and cute. Sweetest Temptations tells a story about a hot alpha male fireman and a cute bakery shop owner.

Abby's sister sets up Abby on blind dates. On past blind dates that Abby have gone to the blind dates have been losers. Until one of the blind date's that Abby goes on is a date with sexy male (Kennedy) who isn't a loser. After that blind date Abby keeps thinking about Kennedy on when they first met at her bakery for opening day.

Overall Sweetest Temptations is highly recommend if you like a cute and funny romantic read. With a sexy alpha firefighter and a bakery shop owner.

This was a really great read, it had some awesome characters. Abby has just started her own business of running a bakery with one of her close friends Dex helping. She is introduced to Kennedy through her sister, Kennedy is a sexy firefighter who is sweey, loving but has a dirty sexy mouth. Abby and Ken hit off and have incredible sex, as feelings growing stronger, so does the threat that some is out to seek revenge on Abby and her business. I love the playfulness in Abby and Kens relationship. we meet some great strong characters like dex, Ronnie and hope. love this book and would love to see more about this group.

EXCERPT: Sweetest Temptations by J.C. Valentine

At nine a.m. sharp, I brushed flour from my hands, flipped the locks on the door, turned the sign
over declaring Sweetest Temptations open for business, and marched outside to place another sign
in the middle of the sidewalk.
Now, the only thing left to do was wait.
And wait.
And wait.
Nearly two hours passed and I was firmly planted in a chair I’d stolen from one of the dining
sets, halfway through reading an article on how toplease my non-existent man, when a throat cleared.
“Hold on one sec,” I said, holding up a finger. Was it really a turn-on to greet your man at the
door wearing saran wrap? That seemed….vacuum packed. I immediately chucked the idea and the
magazine. The only thing I would be saran wrapping was cakes and pies. “Can I help you?”
Standing, I reached under the counter and pulled on a pair of thin plastic gloves from the box I
kept there. I turned on my bright, I’m-here-to-serve-you smile and aimed it at my very first customer.
“Oh…my.” The words weren’t intended to leave my mouth.
Standing before me was the most insanely beautiful man I had ever seen. He was everything a
woman with a healthy libido and functioning imagination searched for in a man, but rarely got. Tall, at
least six feet. Lean, but thick. I could tell this was the kind of guy who took care of himself. He had that
whole dark and dangerous look going, too, with the black as night hair that was finger combed in that
I-just-got-laid style women swooned over, clean shaven, clear blue eyes the color of a swimming pool
that I craved to jump into, and a mouth that I could see myself licking like frosting on a cupcake. Those
sinful lips turned up in a smile that, had I been wearing any socks, would have knocked them clean off
my toes. Holy mother, this guy was hot!
“Hot?” he asked me, and I felt my eyes bulge. I did not voice that thought, did I? He must have
caught my look of horror because the next thing he said was, “You’re fanning your shirt. I figured you
might be hot.”
Looking down, I saw my hand gripping tight to my t-shirt, tugging at it, fluffing the fabric and
creating a cool breeze against my damp cleavage. “Ovens,” I explained, smiling ruefully. “Gets me
every time.” What the hell was I saying?
A soft chuckle spilled out of him and I found myself leaning a little closer to catch every deep,
husky note. Glancing over my shoulder, he eyed my selection of treats. “Are those blueberry muffins?”
“Yep, fresh out of the oven this morning.”
Sensing a sale, I began preparing a bakery box.
“I’ll take one of those, and…” He scanned the shelves. “A dozen assorted donuts.”
“Any kind?” I asked, glancing over my shoulder.
Those blue eyes lifted from their southerly position and landed back on me. He gave me a slow
smile. Was he checking me out? Mother, shoot me now, ‘cause I was this close to throwing myself
across that counter and kissing him senseless. “Any kind.”
Biting my lip to keep from smiling, I turned and selected a raspberry-filled, a couple of the glazed, custard, and some sprinkled ones to round out the bunch, then closed the box and slid it across
the counter. “Anything else I can get you today?” Please say sex. I needed it, badly. The last time I had
any was…Yeah, I couldn’t even remember the last time. I was pathetic. I was in need. Give it to me, big
boy.
“Nope, that’ll be it.”
Damn. Had I been expecting him to say me? On the floor, right here, right now? The plummeting
sensation in my gut said yes. Yes, I had. How incredibly disappointing.
I gave him the total and he passed me his cash. A man who carried actual cash. In a world of
plastic, he was a rare find, indeed. “You have a good day now.” I pushed his box across the counter,
making sure that when he grabbed it, our fingers touched. I felt that telltale zip of electricity race
through my fingertips and up my arm, traveling a quick path to the hot spot now pulsing between my
legs. Oh, yes, chemistry was in the making.
“Same to you.” He gave me one last blinding smile and turned to leave, brushing by another
customer who had just walked through the door. The ping! of the bell announced them and I prepared to fill another order.
I waited a beat, watching him walk away, admiring the way his tight ass fit into those worn blue
jeans, waiting for him to look back, just once, to confirm what I felt. But no. He never did. Just walked

out that door. Ping! Gone.

Meet Zoey & Nate in this sexy, emotional stand - alone!

NOW AVAILABLE!

the 27 club.jpg

Blurb
You don’t know when…
You don’t get to choose if…
When it’s time to join…you’ll know.
You might think you want to be a member—but trust me this is one club you don’t want to join. It’s not a place where people go to live out their deepest, darkest sexual desires—there are no handcuffs or blindfolds.
The 27 Club only admits those who die young and tragically. My brother was recently bestowed membership and joined many of our ancestors before him. I know I’m next. This is my destiny, and I was ready to yield.
But then I met Nate. He awakened a sensuality in me that had never been explored, never satisfied. I knew then I could no longer accept my destiny. Nate’s presence controls me. I’m overwhelmed by his touch, his words; my every thought is consumed by desire. I believe he was brought into my life for a reason.
Nate doesn’t believe in destiny.
But I do.
And if there’s a way to cheat it—I must.

Excerpt (Never posted before)
My jaw practically hits the table.
The chocolate crêpe!
I can’t believe it.
Harnessing all of my willpower, I fight the sudden inclination I have to leap around the table and jump onto his lap. I always tell people I prefer dessert before a meal, but never has anyone taken me seriously.
Never.
Tension coils deep in my belly. Lust flows through my veins running faster and faster with each passing second. I look over at him and as soon as I see his face, I can feel myself coming unhinged. Urges I can’t deny surface. The need to know the taste of his lips, to feel his hard body,
to be able to lick the chocolate he just ordered off his chest, and to slide my tongue down his stomach so I can taste him.
Looking thoughtful, his return gaze slowly changes to one of concern. “Have you stopped planning for your future because you don’t think you have one?” he asks softly.
Remnants of our conversation must have been lingering in his mind. Slamming my eyes shut, all of the erotic images I had conjured up immediately disappear as I fight to breathe.
Suddenly the air becomes thick in my lungs and I can’t get it out. I take deep calming breaths. As the haze around me dissipates and I fight off the panic attack, I hear a fumbling in front of me. I force myself to lift my lids. Nate is attempting to open my clutch. “What are you doing?”
“Trying to get you your inhaler.” Panic seems to drown out the deep green of his eyes.
I push to my feet and give him a disbelieving look. “I’m not having an asthma attack.”
“You’re not?” He sounds uncertain.
Shaking my head, I set my napkin on the table. “Excuse me, I have to use the ladies room.” I walk inside the restaurant, realizing I have no idea where I’m going. Looking around, I find the bathrooms immediately.
Just as I pull the door open, a hand covers mine. “You’re upset.”
I drop my head. “No, I’m fine.”
Fierceness grips his voice. “You’re lying.”
Summoning all of my willpower, I raise my eyes.
Nate lifts my chin. “You didn’t let me finish. I’m trying to understand you. I want to know why, if you believe in destiny, you’d change your path. Why wouldn’t you do what you had always planned on doing? Why change your course? Personally, I think destiny is bullshit. I also think not pursuing your dream is bullshit too.”
Caged by his body, his scent, his presence, I look up into his burning eyes and I can see compassion there. I believe he wants what’s best for me. If I think I know him through my brother, he thinks he knows me through my brother as well. And Zach wanted me to continue my education. His dream was that someday I’d be Dr. Zoey Flowers. Nate knows this.
“Zoey?” Nate’s voice is questioning. Low. Maybe even slightly fearful.
“Nate”—I press my finger to his lips—“I think I need to tell you something about myself.”
“What?” he asks.
In all our e-mails after my brother’s death, I never mentioned the real reason for my delay in coming to Miami. I keep my eyes open even though I want to close them. “I had a breakdown shortly after Zach died. I took a leave from my job. I couldn’t get out of bed. I couldn’t plan one day, let alone the next. And somewhere during that time, I let any plans I had for the future fall to the wayside. I don’t know what I want anymore.”
Shock appears on his face. “Why didn’t you tell me in any of our e-mails?”
The truth is hard to admit. “I actually looked forward to your weekly e-mails. But I did lie to you. It wasn’t work that kept me from coming to get my brother’s things. It was me and my inability to cope.”
Nate stares down at me.
My entire focus is on him. “Don’t think I’m crazy. I’m not. Really, I’m not.”
His gaze continues to pin me in a way that makes me think he understands me.
It holds me in place. Keeps me calm.
“Zoey, God, I don’t think that at all,” he breathes. “I can understand how that would happen.
With everything coming at you at once, and the shock of Z’s death, coupled with the revelations about your family, it was just too much. I get it.”
I just stare at his lips, longing to kiss him. My body is filled with so many wants and needs, and all these new urges I’ve never felt before.
And all I want is just for him to set me free.

"Look at me," Joe said as his fingers went under Darlene's chin. "You're very attractive." Darlene trembled his touch was warm, gentle and his voice soothing so confident. He ran a finger over her bottom lip. "You're trembling, I like that. Tells me a woman's body is reacting and I love a wet soft pussy." Her heart leapt in her chest and her nipples hardened. She'd never had a man talk to her like that. There mere mention of her pussy made her body ache. "I bet right about now, if I slipped a finger into you, you'd be sopping wet. Should I try and see?" Darlene swallowed, she couldn't move because he was right, he was so right.

✦✦Ethan Radcliff✦✦

I've been writing since I was a kid. I love creating and tried my hand at art, not bad but not good enough. A guy's gotta eat. Through high school I wrote erotic stories, kept them in a notebook, let a few of my girlfriends read them. Yeah, played football, baseball, but my brain never stopped thinking of sex. I guess we think about it all the time. Been on face book for a while never did anything interesting when I was on until I started to see all the writers and then some poets posting their erotic prose. Men who were writing erotic romance and stories, I knew it was my time to get out the old note book and throw on some poems. Some are old and some are new, the ones about BDSM are newer. In high school or college I wasn't on that train of thought. I see a picture it sets me off. A see an attractive women it sets me off. The jiggle of a full ass or heavy breasts, gets me going. Yeah, my mind always is on a beautiful face or body.
