This wa a quick read, I really enjoyed it.
Haven hasn't had the perfect role model for life, her went through men for money, became a drug addict and died from an over dose. Haven was left to fend for herself and with an impression not to trust anyone or believe in love til Andrew.
while haven was at work a rowdy customer crossed the line and Andrew came to the rescue. He has an instant connection to Haven. Haven is big on being saved nor does she belive in knights in shining armor, but when Haven is approached by drug dealers demanding money her mother owes Andrew shows up right place, right time. Andrew feels the need to protect Haven. Andrew has a good life, friends, big family and money, but Haven refuses to take anything from Andrew, she will not turn into her mother. Andrew and Haven get to know each other more and feelings start surfacing and Haven starts to trust him, until his past catches up with him and the truth comes out. this was a great book, I would have liked to seen more of Andrew pov to have learned more about him , but I enjoyed 5 out 5.
