After reading Degrade I had to read this book. Loving dark reads I really wasn't disappointed with this read.
We met Aria in Degrade, and she is one woman that you wouldn't want to get on the wrong side of. She is a woman that I think has put on such a front, her real self is really hidden inside. Being a human trafficker she is extremely good at what she does, but there are things that are starting to happen she would never have dreamed of.
Mika is a strong willed man, and is one of those men that will never give up until he has got what he wants.
He sets his sights on the strong willed Aria.
This is a brilliantly written dark read, TL Smith has really not disappointed with this book. The darkness, love, violence is all there in this book.

Having previously met Aria in Degrade, her no nonsense approach to life had already piqued my interest. She thinks outside the box, doesn't worry about the consequences and lives everyday as if it's the last. This is her story and it can be read as a standalone but I thoroughly enjoyed reading previous from Degrade in Aria's point of view as she is one twisted lady! Aria is a human trafficker; luring men unaware of their fate, capturing men to break them down and turn them into Thralls. Sex slaves willing to do anything their Mistress asks of them without hesitation or remorse and Aria is the without a doubt very talented. How did she find herself in the world of sex and ownership...
Aria is not a victim nor is she unwilling to be part of her new life style, she revels in her sexuality embracing her body's need for pleasure. Having no issue exploiting men who she traps with her sexuality she loves her job and all it entails. Relying on her twin Jagger to keep her grounded, he too becomes involved in the shady world Aria has found herself in. Wealth power and sex fill their days...but things never remain the same and a new boss blows Aria's world apart.
Mika, a man in the shadows a voice in the dark has been watching the twisted firecracker that is Aria. Desperate to own her, keep her and tame her he does everything in his power to manipulate the game to win her. Changing the rules and keeping an ace up his sleeve Mika will not stop till she is his. But having never been conventional can Aria see through his actions to the emotions that motivate him?
A kick ass foray into the flip side of the sex trade, told from the trainers pony of view and not the victims this story is different and one not to be missed. Aria is like no other character I have read about, fiesty and head strong she is totally unrepentant. I love her carefree spirit and her black and white approach to life. Mika is sizzling hot dark and dangerous moving heaven and earth to get the girl of his dreams. The scenes with Bexley and Zeke add humour, catching up with the main characters in Degrade add another perceptive to the story making it more rounded and complete. I loved every page!
Fortunate to beta read this story I have loved the experience as this book flourished to life and the characters grew and changed. TL Smith has done it again...a mind twisting read that is sure to leave you feeling a little hung over!
