Letty is no damsel in distress, though. She's a fighter, and she never backs down from a challenge.

This is a true mafia read and it has all the things needed in a fantastic mafia read.
Letty is a strong woman and she never believed that Mile's was guilty of the offence he was imprisoned for.
This is a story of revenge, soul mates, betrayal, it is beautifully executed and this is a great start to a series.
Addison has a different way of writing and you can feel that she puts her heart and soul in to the books that she writes.
I am really looking forward to reading Knox's story.

Choosing to comfort his saint of a mother at her time to pass Miles starts on a long path of retribution as his father puts a target on his head for not choosing him. A free man Miles knows this is far from over, there is a contract out for his death and he is aware the debt can only be paid in blood. His time in a high security prison has hardened him and given him plenty of time to plan. Miles knows exactly what he wants and aims to succeed. The only variable...his list live Letty. Unsure why she has broken her promise to wait for him, they were high school sweethearts before he was set up for the mob hit. Miles is determined to win back the woman who has been the keeper of his heart.
Letty witnessed the near death then incarceration of her soul mate. Knowing he was part of the mob in small Carrion she also knew he was different. Heartbroken when he doesn't contact her she tries her best to live without him. Yet she can not distance herself from the Capadonno family. Becoming The Butcher's nurse as cancer ravages him and takes him one step closer to the grave, Letty has immersed herself into the family to remain close to the man she loves. Can she remain part of the family when Miles returns, who truly has her loyalty?
The Capadonna boys - Knox, Dustin, Landon and Miles all play their cards close to their chests. Raised as part of the mob family they know you only walk away when you are dead. With loyalties tested and a debt of blood to be paid who has who's back? The plot thickens as the saying goes blood is thicker than water...but does that only goes so far? The father wants the son dead and will go to any lengths, he is a wily old man! Craft as a fox and bat shit crazy, The Butcher is a true villain. Mikes Away is a cleverly written story of retribution. The scales need to balanced and Miles wages war on those who have wronged him. He is one hot sexy brooding male who knows what he wants and goes for it. His brothers are equally sinfully delicious and I hope they each get their own story. I was blown away by this story as its so clever, weaving a undercurrent of mystery and suspense throughout. Balancing the love story of childhood sweethearts perfectly with a story of death and mayhem.
